Skyburner will be godly in that raid for the adds. Merciless for the bosses.
Swapping in and out exotics sucks. Wish we could hotfix loadouts.

We got past that part in about an hour total. Thought it was pretty good.
Had to bail on my team at the next part though and they continued without me.
Up for continuing now (I presume i have a checkpoint), if anyone is game?
Would prefer people who haven't finished it but would settle for people who don't mind nor rushing.

The story is objectively worse than where destiny was after the new quest system. Every quest step had flavour text, there were voiced intros while flying to the destination, and if you wanted more story the grimoire was an option. What does Destiny 2 have? Some longer cutscenes of meaningless fluff. The mystery is completely gone. The fucking strikes have absolutely no context to them now. You teleport into a location and there is a text objective to follow with some voiced quips. Why is the strike called Arms Dealer? Who the fuck is this dude and why should I care about killing him? It's trash tier storytelling and this time there is no grimoire to pick up the slack.

Slightly late compared to most in this thread and just making my way through the campaign over the last couple nights (only get a few hours to play on weeknights).
Cayde's "I don't have time explain" line was perfectly placed.
First time arriving at "Utopia" on Titan and the intros to Nessus and Io were both jaw dropping moments - the environments in this game are incredible (really can't wait to see these in 1440p 100+ fps next month). Traversing deeper in to the hive ship on Titan was one of the best moments so far.
I'm really liking Failsafe as an NPC too, although the malfunctioning AI behavior is too close to Warframe's Ordis to be a coincidence. Don't mean that as a negative, I'm sure both dev teams play each others games.
The campaign overall is just so far ahead of the first game and I haven't even touched any of the Adventures on Nessus or Io, or completed all of them on Titan.
Also got the Sunshot which is incredibly fun to use in PVE. Crispy handling + explosions = fun.

Gonna put it on this default vanguard Scout I always had, but never knew it was good.
Seems like most of the streamers were using it in the Raid yesterday.

Got it as one of my first legendaries and have never put it down since. It's a great scout rifle if you're into them. Looks fantastic with a number of other shaders too. Will post the one I was rocking for awhile with it, was black metallic green and white. Really nice lighting when used.

Grrr, I really don't like how primitive the clan tools are. The membership limit is still 100, which means if you have a lot of people who want to play on PSN/XB1 and PC that cuts it down to 50 people. There is zero way I can tell to quickly spot who isn't logging in or playing anymore, you have to almost do detective work and dig into each persons history to see if they still want to play.
Why implement all these clan banner and guided game features if the clan limit is still 100, across all 3 platforms
Nameless midnight? Thats a great gun for me so far, very Hung Jury-ish. I thought more people would be using Skyburners Annex though given the +cabal damage modifiers, although then you couldn't use merciless as your exotic slot.

Really wish I could slam my clan banner into the ground at will. Like after a public event, raid, strike completion etc.

Not sure, just saw the post on the Bungie App on my phone. I think it was at like 12am last night though and its already over with.
The best thing of all is that I don't miss Overwatch one bit (although I'll probably return in a couple of weeks or with the next patch). Feels good not having to care about throwers or leavers
I'm just avoiding Overwatch until I'm done the campaign/adventures/lost sectors and all that because I know my eyes will die going from 144hz to 30.

I would love to take part in guided games Nightfall, but I saw that microphone is required and I can not talk when I would actually have the time playing because the living room is next to the bedroom where my wife and the newborn are sleeping. Thin walls.

Maybe nightfall. Communication is incredibly essential in raids though and you would be hard pressed to make that work then. There are some nice sherpas willing to do it still.

On a side note, I fucking hate the new jump boots (ST0MP-E55). The world wasn't made for these. Dieing left and right from bumping head on invisible wall. Just add a regular jump like the bones!!!!

yes no problem for nightfalls, but in raids you need a mic
