Welp, guess my EU preload is worthless now. I went to the EU account and tried to restore the license their and when I did, a Lock appeared on the destiny beta and when i try to start it can't connect to the server but it also says this..

No, you're not fucked. You'll need a bungie key, but you don't have to redownload. Check my earlier post!

Those who did the EU preorder trick (I'm in EU though, but it should work for US peeps too)

You have the preloaded game, but it wont start/is locked

1. Redeem code HERE (login first, and you'll see where you can redeem)
2. RESTORE LICENCES
3. Start game.


Just worked for me now, didn't have to download it over again.

Thanks man. Now my Canadian account says "Cannot start, cannot connect to server to verify license"

I restored licenses under the Canadian account too.

Do I just keep spamming start?

Same on US account with doing a normal code redeem download

Finally got in. Kept getting errors when trying to redeem the code. I eventually went to the library to see if the code activated and luckily it did.

Now I just had to beat the error code I was getting for the library. I was able to and finally got to the page where I could click download.

Currently installing content 11%, w00t!

Kind of sucks that they cut "that line" from the dialogue. It kind of became quaint with it's meme infused longevity.

I feel like Bungie has too much of a sense of humor to completely eliminate it from the game. It has to be hidden somewhere even if it seems like they took it out.

Been trying to redeem my code for a fucking hour.

Not for me. The game file was 14 GB at first and changed to 179 MB. I have loaded the 179 MB and it takes me into the Beta. But now it won't connect to PSN when I press X to connect. I don't know if I got the right download.

That's weird... why are some people getting 14GB while some of us 10.97GB?

Keep trying. That's what I did even though it kept saying that they were undergoing maintenance. Eventually I got in and the download only took about a minute.

On bungie website on your account theres a beta section where you've got to choose what console and continent you want it for

You can either go to Bungie.net and you'll have your codes there in the beta section, or you can wait for an email from Bungie.

Did I read earlier once you've redeemed your code and been told that your code no longer works to keep spamming the view downloads bar so it comes up? Otherwise I've wasted a code.

looks like a lot of stuff that was excluded in the alpha, compared to the reveal, is indeed back in the beta, so that is cool.

PS3 version also hold up really well, just obvious lower IQ everywhere, but scope and lighting look intact

PSN still not letting me get to my download list to start the download remotely... I bet David Robert Jones did this. He stole the servers with some ingenious device to further his nefarious plans.
