Ok here's how to get into the beta if you're having problems.

Step 1: Get your beta code from the bungie site. That's just perseverance. Keep spamming until you get through.

Step 2: Don't even try redeeming your code through your PS4 you'll end up flipping a table. Instead read https://support.us.playstation.com/...-to-redeem-a-code-or-playstation-network-card Click "PC or Mac: Redeem Vouchers through the SEN website". Follow the steps to redeem your code.

Step 3: After redeeming your code you will not be able to download the game from the same site. Now you'll have to deal with PSN (god speed). This step was provided by TimeEffect:



Don't use the circle button like I was! Follow this procedure.

Step 4: Go down to the Destiny pg on the PSN store and click it. Keep following the quoted method whenever you get an error screen. If the download button doesn't work just keep trying the quoted method.

Step 5: You're in! Or you should be unless something changes. You can't actually play unless Destiny can connect to PSN which I haven't solved yet but hopefully you'll be lucky and won't need additional assistance.

Ok I'm in but can't connect to bloody psn servers now (ps4 Europe)....

Does it require an additional download as I checked the destiny beta info and is says download status 12gb / 12gb.. So I'm thinking it's updating the client maybe?

According to Dax and others you can do so in standby after you begin the download in the client, if I have not misunderstood them.

Nope, I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to get into the PSN store on PS4 to manually download the NA beta, but it's not easy.

Yeah, I finally got into my library and was able to start the download. Now I'm at the splash install screen with 10GB to go.

Meanwhile The EU file I already have on my system from yesterday is still locked. Turned out to be completely useless

Looking at this thread and how the PSN store is being hammered, this game will be huge for Bungie and Sony. Can't believe this is just the beta ppl are going crazy about. Also I have noticed a lot of folks know about this game compared to other games. Again a sign this will be huge come launch.

Now I need to download mine ....

PSN regularly falls to pieces at the slightest bit of pressure (even when there's no pressure it struggles) so it's hard to judge anything based on them. I wouldn't bet against the game selling very very well though, the alpha convinced me and I really wasn't feeling it before then.

I had to restore licenses then worked.

Able to download client shell- takes you to destiny splash screen- lots of psn down errors- refreshed psn to back in- finally got a installing destiny/transferring content screen with cool images- going to get lunch now.

36% ATM. West coast NA
