Wouldn't be surprised if they made it evocative of Halo on purpose. Would have preferred something a bit more striking than the tried and true armored space marines posing with guns, but it's not terribly important either way. Looking forward to the trailer.

You can't see a podcast. If there was a video of new gameplay I'm pretty sure it would be at the top of the discussions right now.

Box art is okay. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I don't hate it.

The Destiny hype train seems to be picking up steam. New podcast, return of the Bungie Weekly Update, box art reveal, and new trailer tomorrow. Maybe a release date soon? I'm going to avoid campaign / story info, but I'll eat up as much PvP news as I can get.

I'm sorry but everyone that thinks this is copying the new Halo trailer hasn't been following the game very long. There has been concept art out for a long time now. Bungie had that style and look way before we seen that trailer. Also, they pull it off. The Halo trailer makes it seem stupid and try hard.

That's really beautiful. You made that yourself? Have you considered sending it to Bungie and see if they'd be interested in using it themselves? Looks a like the pretty minimalist art they used to have on Halo special editions.

Dat Xbox Green. Really, really, really horrible colour.

It's really quite garish here, isn't it? I thought it looked quite good on the Forza cover, but I suppose with most box arts leaning towards the blue/orange trend at the moment, it's probably going to look pretty horrible against a lot of third party releases.

Well, if you prefer guns and posing soldiers to outer space and a minimalist sense of scale then yeah, the new box art might be more appealing. I disagree, but I don't think it's bad.

I don't hate it, but I'll be printing my own after it's out. I can't fault them for its current design, as I know box art is meant to sell copies to the uninformed gamer. Tasteful, understated, minimalist art just doesn't push forth that this is a sci fi shooter to moms out shopping for their kids.

I highly doubt that we won't eventually see a PC version of this.

Activision ports the majority of their library to Steam and this is a massive undertaking that has cost them a significant investment, they are going to want to recoup that.
