Kachina maxed: 1203 / 371 / 346 @ 2.0 cost Light
Good bodies for fights.
And in Asia, both the Shengjun spirits (Nandou (Light) and Beidou (Dark)) cost 2.5 and max out at: 1143 / 472 / 264.
Decent Skill too with the ability to change the element of the enemy.
I'm trying to max both of those currently.

Stupid question, but when you say maxed out, it's because there's a limit to the bonus points?
Can you give me some tips on the best way to getting there?
I have both Kachina and Griffin over level 20 already, but haven't been worring too much about bonus stats so far.
Can I still get both maxed or do I need to start again?
You can get both maxed if you dont start too late, just use only Kachinas or Griffins for levelling now and you are good.
Still trying to wrap my head around this game. Is there a good guide anyone can point me to that explains this stuff?

S Rare 200 100 100And a good rule of thumb for the R and SR is to start merging like spirits during the final level stretch (R from 40 to 50 and SR from 55 to 65). Doing this reduces the number of like spirits needed as the bonus stat boost is slightly higher at higher levels.

Edit: Is there a similar rule with UCs? Like, start pure merging from 25...
UCs are usually easy to come by, just start at 20 if you have them now. I started at 1 for mine (Noob mistake) and still easily got enough spirits.

True. I do it for both. I love Kachina and Phantom of Gold.
I barely use Griffin because Spy Kat is awesome enough, but I can see the appeal.
I'm making a list of my spirits in excell now so I can more easily post what I have/need in trades. That should save some time.
Also, which do you guys feel is the best from the Raid event? Ziz, Ashura or Cheno?
I'm kinda moving towards Ziz, but Ashura's ability is pretty cool. Not a fan of Cherno.
Most prefer either Ashura or Ziz, but all are pretty decent.

Feel like this game is doing everything it can to troll the hell out of me, my Ziz raid has been sitting at lvl 9 since last night and yet I've now had 3 Chernobog in a row, followed by 5 Asura in a row.

4 hours left on mine before one frees up.
You should add a few active people here.
What I do is fight my raid once, then look for others'. If there are no others, I just leave them be even if my raid points go to waste, LOL.

Yeah I have a fair few active GAF members added so they get cleared quickly, it's the 30 min wait to get a raid point back which is killing me when I need to blow 2 to get the MVP bonus on these higher level Asura.

Destiny of Spirits loading times are shitty, as we know it. I am a patient guy. I don't even mind one bit the Vita Sen no Kiseki loading times (longer than the PS3 version - and that's already long in itself). Yes, I don't consider it even remotely bad.
But DoS's loading times is GODDAMN EFFING HORRENDOUS due to phoning home for every single crap. In fact, I remember having a better experience in the beta. The only reason I can play this is since I can do shit while playing it. It's a mindless game. And I'm a sucker for experimenting on game mechanics. >_>
Anyways, back to topic. I have this what I call "Lazy Raid Boss" team.
This is good if you're not like Toma who has put 500 hours in this game (or 500$).
Unfortunately, it does need a certain spirit: Barong. The good thing is that a Lv20 Barong is enough. Another downside is that it has a party cost requirement - 11.0 if needed if you use 4x 2.0cost spirit.
1. Barong Leader
2. Put in 4 high level UC spirits (daily element = priority)
3. Start battle and watch some 3 min porn.
Of course, using skills would make things optimum, but there's a reason I named it Lazy Raid Boss team.
With this, I usually get around 9k~10k damage on Lv 40~60 raid boss. 13k~ on good runs. 6k is the lowest I've ever seen against a Lv 78 raid boss.
Partially based on luck. If Baron doesn't die first, you'd get a decent amount of damage just for watching porn.
