But over on good ole gamefaqs, someone on the 360 board said that gamestop is going to start handing out digital codes for people who bought it digitally at 6PM on Monday. Theoretically, if this is true, you would be able to download the game then and play it correct? This has to be in violation of breaking street dates, but awesome if true. All the OP said is that the employee he was talking to made several calls to back it up.

With the game being a pretty big download and the preload already available now...that actually seems like a poor option. Yes. The servers go online Monday morning, but Digital copies don't unlock until later.

Get the golds on sale. I've seen them down to $40 at one point, and between $60 and $80 is not that uncommon.

why wouldnt u be able to play the 360 version? Stuff is usually on the dashboard before it shows as live. It doesnt have an unlock time or countdown like other consoles do. It doesnt even have preordering. Usually if u can download stuff, u can play it

Bungie said servers won't be open till it hits 9/9. So no matter if you buy it early or whatever, servers will still be closed.

No. I think they are saying that you can go into a store and buy the code at 6pm. You will just be hanging onto a piece of cardboard for the next couple hours till the game goes live though.

SHIT...I have realized I need to go back to first grade about the time they have listed on their website. Its 12 NOON CST on 9/9 listed as the download time on their website. Still, I dont know about the code actually being able to work if u get it from the store at 6 PM. With my past on xbox 360, I am still going to assume that it is going to work

I'll just call mine tomorrow and ask if they know anything about this

I'm pretty sure that like the Elites you can also use the Gold headsets with a standard 3.5mm cable.

Not sure about 360, but on PS3 many digital versions of games are distinctly recognized as the "digital version", so I wouldn't be surprised and also expect that either

A) Download codes won't be active until midnight,

or

B) If you try to start the digital game, an error message will pop up, since the licenses for the distinct digital versions of the games haven't been activated yet.

Amazon is selling the Skullcandy SLYR for $55. I don't know how it is for audio since all the reviews I've read focused mainly on the chat aspect but it seems like a good headset for the price. I ordered a pair yesterday myself.

This, golden gun can kill 3 max. Titan hulk smash can kill an entire team if they're grouped up.

Although it says in the OP that Vanguard Armory is available with all preorders I feel like the marketing team has done a bad in regards to this especially in the UK. I preordered my limited edition from Zaavi and they don't say much, does anyone doubt that it won't be there?

All le have the vanguard pack, only the SE from game has it though, as an exclusive. You should be fine.

So, I haven't had the time or motivation to buy a proper headset and won't have one in time for Destiny.

I'm getting the White PS4 bundle and will be using the included headset that comes with it.

How serviceable is it compared to the Xbox 360 standard headset? I don't care much for the stereo headsets like the Gold Headset or Turtle beaches or anything.
