Has anyone noticed level 30 option on some missions yet?

The increased base light of two legendaries doesn't even get you to 26.

And realistically you need to be significantly above that to actually compete in the Raid, unless you want people wandering around with uncommon weapons.

I am talking about the new level 31 gear getting someone to 27-28. It will offer more light with less investment and time compared to vanilla gear.

I always presumed it only hurt people close by and the target damage was as normal.

Not a chance, that's the additional cost of getting higher damage exotics.

Still, a steep increase in coin usage should be accompanied by an attending path to earning them.

Now Exotics are all effectively 7 Coins more expensive, since their final upgrade will require an Exotic Shard. Old Exotics need a Shard to begin new upgrades and another Shard to max it - so effectively 14 coins for your old Exotics.

Even earning 27 per week sounds way insufficient. And if you have 2 characters? Good luck, no way you won't fall behind.

Totally agree, I am sitting at 2 characters and one of them will be knocked out of top tier earning for a while with new level req. Guess they don't want people to have them all. Gotta be very picky now.

I guess Nightfall coin rewards will be a little more satisfying now. There is also still the coins from engrams which are usually a few a week, but yeah, we will be coin starved.
