Are marks account wide? And commendations I assume you can vault? have 3 commendations I don't plan on using so a few more weeks of capping marks and I can just buy the set. Didn't even cross my mind to use marks.

That's how I decided to make alts. My Titan main was getting legendary gear and lucky enough to get exotic stuff for my Hunter who in turn also got stuff for my Warlock. Once you hit 20 with your alts, put them on and after a few days you'll max them out and get to do Nightfalls, raids and such.

I never thought to even make alts but it is a must if you want to get more shards and have more chances of landing goodies in a week.

marks are character based, but yes you vault-transfer the commendations.

if you have TDB you can get new legendary gloves when you finish Eris' quests; if you already have an exotic helmet you`ll only need armor and some new boots, i believe they both cost 75 marks (a helmet is 125 I think). Add another 75 if you can't be bothered with Eris.

I have my own streaming equipment. I don't stream from my PS4. PS4 is only like 720 30fps I can stream at 4k if I want to and do various other high production things. It helps that I am friends with some of the best streamers in the business. :)

All I do is make gifs immediately from capture videos. Takes less than a minute.

Fuck Xur. Fuck Bungie.

I always have shitty luck with RNG but had saved some coins so I could anything I needed but in fact they choose to bring a week that is absolute shit.

I get no gear to get to 32. But I also get no good guns at all to run even in the raids

You did a pretty good job, we definitely were making strides there. Hearing the people who ran the raid early on made me think that the fight was a lot worse than it turned out to be, although I guess we never did do much with the ogres! Still I think we would have got it.

Was probably a good time to call it though as I just ran out of heavy ammo synths heh

Obviously anecdotal, but I've noticed legendaries tend to roll to the classes that you're currently using more times than not. Either way it won't hurt

Unfortuantely, no. There was definitely a couple times where Crota would swing at me early. Add that with my beginner skills, and the Swordbearer hiding sometimes, we couldn't do it.

I was actually able to bring down his health to 50% in one sword though at one point, so I'm proud of that. And I got some sword experience in.

50% in one sword means you can totally do it before the ogres even spawn. Damn.

Question about the Hunter Sword technique to go invisible. How is doing a melee attack on Crota triggering invisibility? Do you require a specific gear setup? Is this an "unintended method" that Bungie will look into patching?

I feel your pain... Others here might think it's funny but I think it speaks to the bigger problem with the game. It's starting to not be fun anymore.

They focus on all the wrong things and when you hope for a little break, like getting something from Billy Ray Xur, you get screwed. I was so shocked he had icebreaker last week.

Anyway, this is the bubbling up of resentment for all that bungie is not doing. You'll all start to see more straws, breaking more backs. Keep it up bungie and you will be making a game for nothing but a few hard core players out there... and no one else. Here is someone who took the time to write, most don't... they just stop playing.

Xur wasn't too bad for me this week. I needed shards, so I was able to pick up four. Two engrams netted me Mask of the Third Man, and a Obsidian Mind with better stats than my current one.

Same here it's fucking bullshit, Gjallarhorn is the most reliable way to nail the swordbearer before he decides to duck behind a rock or run off to the sunset as well and it's the most reliable way to hit when he does hide behind cover, we had our swordbearer try to take him down with the Hunger of Crota but it was like slapping him with a wet sock, how the fuck can the raid weapons be so fucking useless across the board compared to VoG weapons, fuxking hell.

Probably has to do with how the DLC exotics are useless as well, compared to vanilla exotics.
And I take it all of this has a lot to do with the fact that they didn't properly separated PVE from PVP... Now with every weapon they design they have to think about "how not to make this completely broken in PVP", which makes them quite tame in PVE...

After all that struggle with the actual Crota fight on HM it's anti-climactic doing the Abyss and Bridge for the first time. Too bad team didn't want to get the 2nd Chest/fight Deathsinger, oh well there's always tomorrow.

Unfortunately no, twice we were within one hit, our sword even dissappeared during the final swing, then latency bullshit happened afterwards which Driz couldn't deal with anymore.

Note: We don't know whether the loot table is a simple list of drop chances or something more complex, e.g. additional constraints affecting drops. The Crux might be in the table, but it could be disabled for whatever reason or tied to other metrics and conditions (e.g. number of completed HM CE's).

Furthermore, his post does not exlude the possibility of the drop being indeed bugged. All he says is it will drop at some point.

Got a new Timurs Lash(331 attack) during the recent Iron banner and I reforged it until I got outlaw(quick reload after critical hits), field scout(max ammo) and luck in the chamber(one bullet makes more dmg).
I feel this is the first weapon thats more fun and more effective than Fatebringer even though the recoil is stronger and enemies don't explode.

Our first group couldn't get it done. Kept trying to build supers. It's not really reliable. It was just Forest and I and our new group went with the double Titans which I think is the best and safest strategy.

Yikes, with no heavy synth from Xur I can see a lot of people struggling even more with HM CE, I didn't have too many to start with but I'm completely out of them now so if I were to run it again I'd be relying on drops the entire time (I only have Hunger of Crota anyway but it just means boomer duty for the most part).

As for the rest of what he's selling...looks like it's back to normal for Xur this week.

On the positive side Xur's gear selection this week means him also not selling heavy ammo synth is not that bad, because I've got enough Glimmer to buy it from the gunsmith.
