Raid and Nightfall no. Weekly and Roc playlists yes. For the former I highly recommend playing with people here over looking for a group on the LFG sites.

Raids and nightfall don't have matchmaking. You can post here looking for players for these activities.

You can do weekly strikes, ROC strikes and crucible via matchmaking.
