I've never tried to reach rank 5 in Iron Banner before so I'm going to do that this week. If only because I want that shader. Played for a few hours and got about a quarter way through rank 2. So progress is good, I think

Does it take very long? How much exp is required?

Here's a good run down of it.

That chart forgets to factor in when you get matchmade into garbage teams by garbage matchmaking from bungie. It took me 2.5 hours to get 1 win last time to get the last handful of xp I needed. If you can't win a game you can't gain xp. They seriously need to add different modes to IB already. I shouldn't have to rely on shit matchmaking to hope I get a team with a few people that have brains. Let me run rumble IB if I want. I trust myself above a team of xXx$nip3RDAWG$xXx any day of the week. IB is supposed to be about being the "best" and a proving ground, yet it's the same mode and same 3 maps every single time. Lots of cursing will be going around this week. Then I won't be playing until it's time to pick up my helmet next IB.
