Is there a way to un-upgrade something in your subclass? I have the bladedancer subclass going and upgraded the thing that adds an extra attack when pressing RT. Now I don't blade dance, I spin on the spot?
This is the Destiny positive opinion thread.
That sounds amazing.
Really, step one should be making the Grimoire accessible in-game (have they ever given a justification for why it isn't?), but adding a scan option would be great.
Also, here's another relatively good question:
When does the third row of abilities in the subclass menu unlock for attainability?
Like, I'm level 10, and I still have no progress made towards Triple Jump.

Sorry, PS4 here
Looking for people do the weekly strike with as well though. It's tough as hell.
YeeppppPulse rifle I love you
They have the perfect tool for this with the Ghosts, getting to theThe gameplay in the game is fantastic. I love the art direction and graphics. However in terms of story telling and the mission design the game leaves a lot to be desired. I know Halo: CE was designed to be a much tighter experience than destiny in terms of level design and enemy encounter, but I expected a lot more in this department from the people who gave us the Silent Cartographer.library on the moon for example, a great opportunity to reveal more on the history of Earth, the golden age or even the existence of exo and the fallen
It really doesn't make sense at all to me either. It's like, they clearly spent a lot of time developing this universe with all this relatively interesting lore, but they made it such an unnecessary hassle to learn anything about it. For a game that seems to be striving for easy accessibility from a gameplay and mechanical perspective, the storytelling is anything but.

Finished the game. Wasn't sure it was even the end till the cutscene. Not sure what to think besides the cutscene was kinds cool, whereas everything that led up to it was just okay.
I love howthe stranger or whatever said something along the lines of "This is just the start" and all I could think was yeah where's the rest of the game? :/

After the relevant second row unlocks, I think.
It moves the regular attack to your melee button, whatever that is. It confused me too!
hnng
That full auto option is fucking amazing.georgetakeiohmy.gif
Dear lord that screams DLC....sounds like we payed for story alah asuras wrath style....as in DLC required to finish the story
In order to level up a subclass do you need to have it active?
Set fire team to publicSo I'm around level 4 and I still haven't been able to play any of the mission type thing with anyone else. Are the servers screwed up?
Game is boring me playing by myself.
Will try, thanks!Set fire team to public

The combat in this game is so good it literally raises my heart rate. Solo is very tense.

So far hand cannons and pulse rifles seem to be the only usable primary weapons. Scout rifles and auto rifles got nerfed hard.
Where do I get a cape for my hunter?
I'm still using the one I started with which is so tiny it's basically a scarf.
I'm level 8 btw.

auto rifles are pvp only for me right now.
scout rifles... man, there's still a place for them - but its hard to go from the hand cannon back to the scout rifle. especially if you have a handcannon with a decent clip size.
Been in these Destiny thread for over 1 year now. Now the game drops and I barely have time to play. Sucks being a senior in university. Hoping I get to finish the story this weekend. Can anyone say how long it is?

So I was just doing some missions on Patrol on Venus when a public event got triggered, so I pressed the touch pad to see where it was on the map, but all the markers just point to other mission beacons (the green flashing ones). How am I supposed to know where the public event takes place?

True, however strikes could have been a perfect opportunity for this. Using the loot you've gained on the planet to fight through well designed levels along side two other guardians, with a memorable enemy encounter to top it off instead of the bullet sponges we are given. I understand people don't want a Halo like experience from Destiny, but ending strikes with skirmishes that give me the same level of excitement as the double scarab fight from Halo 3; I would return to play them countless times at higher difficulties. Reward us with greater loot and it'd have me returning to Destiny throughout this generation.I think the core problem with the level design is that a lot of the levels have to function as throughways rather than just places to fight. It really limits their options.
Has anyone gotten any exotics yet?
