Tried the flawless Trials of Osiris.

First attempt, 8-0. Had the loss-buff. Went 3-0 behind. Got back 3-3. We got up to 4-3. One ... more ... go. We start the match. We see the enemy team but we can't hit them. They can hit us. Result? 4-4. The start of the final round... We see the loading screen. 5 minutes after that, we get disconnected.

+1 loss, buff didn't work. Bye Mercury.

Second attempt ... 6-0. Had all buffs. Everything looked great. Weasel error. Followed by Parrot. 6-1. Bye Mercury.

Grats SockyJohnson!
It seems that the combination of purple engrams not decrypting to mats anymore, and nightfalls not rewarding mats anymore made it so Bungie upped the chanced of being rewarded an engram at the end of a nightfall.
Lots of people posting they got this, and myself I had one last week, my first ever from a nightfall.

Well technically I got two characters to 34 in the first day, then the 9 Light I got from trials I boosted my hunter up, sure you're right people are bound to be better than others but if it's taking you 4/5 hours that is crazy. Once you hit 34 and know the encounters the time will drop considerably, I expect my times to drop to about an hour on these from now on on all but 35 as this weeks burn is going to be a nightmare.

Also your post seems to be filled with rage and then acceptance.
This game is a grind and meant to take hours, the whole checkpoint glitching
is cheap as hell and isn't really how these encounters were designed.

I did mention when you have 3 34's it'll cut down time....
You took that as an attack. GG.

To some it's the worst thing ever.

To others, it's just a regular strike with modifiers.

It's not so bad.

Hit or miss.
Had one guy one day who would just kill me and the other guy with his sparrow at the beginning of Omnigul, in the little closet from where you do most of the first phase. After the other guy left, he continued trying to smash me with his sparrow. I retreated under a stair and just sat waiting for him to do some work, but he just left after a while.
Most of the time it's fine, though.

Is actually No Land Beyond burn. Only weapon that could actually damage him.

Took that as an attack? Wait .. what? I didn't. You are entitled to your own opinion. No offense taken. You are right that the encounter takes far less time once everyone is 34 and knows what to do. However, I think you are the minority here. Most of the people I play with take far more time. O well, wasn't meant to be an attack against ya. Dont worry :)

I merely stated that I (and I'm not alone) don't have that much time to spend. The next big DLC drops in september. I've got 4 more months to get 3 chars to 34. I wish I got my characters to 34 the first week. All of them are 33 ... PoE armor with all that strength is useless. Hunter will go for the ToO armor ... Titan with VoG armor. Just because the VoG armor still looks best.

Again, the only problem (and I'm speaking for myself) is time...

So what kind of perks does that chest piece have from veriks? Is it as good as say... Raid armor?

Is PoE 34 still the same boss? Same rotation? (hive/cabal/cabal/hive/hive)



(what is the nf/weekly)?

Nah, PoE 32 is last week's 34, and this week's 34 is all new.
Weekly is HoW strike with Specialist.
Nightfall is Sepiks with Angry, Lightswitch and Brawler (lol).

Kinda hit and miss. I've had great runs with randoms, and some shitty iddlers. I usually just go back to orbit if there's idllers, unless one of the randoms is doing the run with me and not leaving as well.

Weirdest thing happened at close of ToO. After reset happened, we kept letting it matchmake. We were 5-1 and won the next match BUT IT RESET THE PASSAGE CARD to 1-0. We ultimately finished 3-3 :(
