Aww yes, I've been waiting for the PoE machine gun to pop up. It's an upgrade on Corrective Measure(except the shank burn, that's now 6/6 of my PoE weapons with shank burn
) and it's going to be a real help during a Void Skolas week since Truth is fucking useless.
The Sniper Rifle and Machine Gun are probably the only great PoE weapons, everything else disappointed me.

Straight up garbage; all I'm getting from these NFs are exotics to shard. At least someone on my squad got E-light.
This is why I only ever run the nightfall on my main character if I ever bother to do it to get the exp boost, because not only do I nearly have everything, making most of the drops redundant, but the one thing I do want, i.e. the new Titan exotic boots, have a much better chance of being sold by Xur than dropping for me in the nightfall.
I'm playing the odds game, so I choose to wait for Xur, because the odds are in my favour if I do so.

Lol holy shit. So I have one character on ps4 and one on Xbone. Did nightfall on ps4 just before and got my first gjallahorn. Now just did nightfall on my Xbone and got my first Gjallahorn there too.
i will join in but on remote play so pls do not judge
He slows you down to the point where you almost can't move, so basically just hide in the far left corner for 10 seconds.

Most likely. Specialist also nerfs the damage output of other weapons. And Specialist + Solar Burn is like having a double burn on Black Hammer (so 600% damage bonus I think). Interesting modifier choice by Bungie. Just hope we never see Arc Burn again on that fight.
The increased recovery in ______ room from PoE armor is so strong it'll basically undo that debuff. Likewise the "recover super" perk is equivalent to an absolutely enormous Intellect boost. It's shitty to roll all STR but you don't feel it at all when you're in the appropriate rooms and those buffs kick in.

Bungie shouldn't have given out info to all of their special friends if they wanted it to be a secret. Seems like they have nobody to blame but themselves for the leak since they leaked it willingly.

Oh man.... 600% dmg bonus sounds fucking insane! Put up weapons of light and those black hammer headshots are going to crit HARD.
Someone test this out please and let us know much much dmg a black hammer does haha. FOR SCIENCE!
Also... like you said since specialist drops damage of other weapons the ghorn will be doing even less damage
With Specialist on, Gjallarhorn will be far less effective than normal. Doubt you'll be able to straight up burn him like week 1, since the Solar burn will be offset by Specialist.
That said, Black Hammer will probably melt the guy. Unlike RLs, you can buff sniper damage via Weapons of Light...and with Specialist+Solar it'll be doing 3x damage...and since you won't ever reload he'll never break out of stun lock... And since you aren't relying on Rocket spam failed runs shouldn't require waiting on synth cool down.
All told, if BH works like I expect it to, this might be the easiest week yet.

Ugh, I honestly hope that they remove weapon reforging. That or they actually have a *variety* of weapons. Because right now there's little reason to play for new gear other than how it looks.
