I like the 34 boss a lot. Wasn't terribly difficult, nor was is stupidly easy.

Skolas was a joke though. As was the nightfall.

But it was still a surprise, just a little early. Kinda like having an ultrasound to find out the gender of your child.

Would have been fun for all of that to be shown at E3 with hype. I'm sure they will show something cool, though.

My thoughts and questions on the expansion:

- How will it be integrated into the main game so the community isn't separated?
- MORE VAULT SPACE IS A MUST (not just 10 extra blocks)!
- I'd love there be a $60 package with a season for all the content coming next year.
- Bungie needs to continue on with reducing the amount of materials for upgrades.
- Have gunsmith sell weapon parts!
- Separate all cosmetic items (emblems and shaders) into separate storage.
- Continue with QOL updates.

Agree with all this except the materials. I think it's fairly simple now.
Armor is character class item + planetary mat. Armor is weapon parts + planetary mat. Exotics are the same but need an Exotic Shard. That's 4 upgrade materials total (character, weapon parts, planetary mats and a Exotic Shards). It was a mess with Ascendant/Radiant Energy/Shards and needing 16 mats per mode and having 4x more bubbles but it's good now. Upgrading HoW stuff is a cheap breeze.

CHRIST ALMIGHTY FINALLY GOT THAT HAWK

Thanks Deku and Kurt!
Heh, that was a good run. We all got Exotics, but you and Deku arguably got the better ones with Kepri's Sting and the Hawkmoon. Out of two Nightfalls I effectively got 1 Mote of Light and 1 Exotic Shard.

Lol, how much more could they possibly reduce with the materials? I think it's just fine as is. Any more simple and it just wouldn't seem right.

So for someone that skipped Skolas week one, what is the solar gjallarhorn strategy?

Kill servitor, blessing of light bubble for added durability, gjallarhorn, synth, gjallarhorn?

Urrghhh. Trials. Another crack, another failure. Still yet to win a single round! I'm so bad it at.

Friend got Hawkmoon from the PoE lvl 28 chest which was nice though.

Pretty much. Don't die is the most important bit though.

WoL is more useful if you only have one Defender.

WoL doesn't do much for rocket launchers/gjallarhorn. Better use blessing to survive those adds.

Really? Why not? It doesn't increase damage as much? We took down Skolas with snipers and MGs before the adds reached us.
