I can't help myself. I tend to find patterns where there are none, until further data shows there was no pattern to begin with. But anyways: so far, ToO has rotated from Vanilla to CE to HoW for map selection.

I'm thinking perhaps this weekend it'll be a vanilla map. Which gets me a little excited because Shores of Time would be fantastic! Perhaps a little campy but still good in my opinion.

Ashes to assests on trials this weekend is going ato be bullshit. https://youtu.be/CCroS8z69Qw

Have there been any videos showing this to be effective in low player count PvP? I tried a bit yesterday and it didn't feel all that effective, just forced me to play in an unnatural way that made things worse. I had quite a few that didn't proc, and a lot of the time I was dead when they ran through it and my super doesn't fill when I'm dead. Would much rather use a trip mine.

Hey cool, I still needed Mask of the Third Man for my Hunter. Guess I'll grab that. Otherwise just want to try the 34 Prison this weekend and then I'm probably taking another break until Taken King, unless they change things up in PoE to make it more appealing.

I have bad news.

I have 12 Weapon Parts. 12!

How did I burn through it all so fast? New weapons also take fewer parts for upgrades.

If I am lucky I can play 1 card of Trials this weekend and hope to unlock the weapon for dismantling.

Ascend a lot of exotics lately?

25 weapon parts is ridiculously expensive. Hope they lower the cost and give us a way to purchase or exchange for weapon parts.

I used them up on my Hunter. My Titan has 346 so that's nice haha

Anyone ever post anything about good rolls for the BTRD 354?

I have 2 of them now and not sure what I should be looking for in terms of perks. There doesn't seem to be a guide on reddit for it like for shotguns and snipers.

I rolled one for PvP yesterday. Got Counterbalance, Quick draw, Crowd control.

Are you serious? Old legendaries cost 16 weapon parts per each attack node, and there were a lot of them. The current upgrade system is incomprehensibly cheap in terms of weapon parts and planetary materials.

We're all running short because we're massively upgrading and ascending and buying and re rolling gear. Stuff I'd have never bothered upgrading before seems worth it now... so though they're all cheaper, I end up working on more gear and ultimately spending all my stuff.

But 25 weapon parts for ascending seems totally, totally fair. I'mm 100% with you though on that second part. They should let us buy weapon parts. Give the gunsmith some more!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DESTINY AND MY ADDICTION!!!

First Look Alpha began 1 year ago today. Can't believe it's been that long already.

Wow can't believe it's been a year since the alpha. Didn't care about the game at all but decided to try the alpha. I guess she got her hooks in me.

I saved mine up by getting super lucky with rolls and just swapping weapons around. Pain in the ass, but it saves a lot of motes and weapon parts.

I've still spent around 400 since HoW released though.

Damnit Xur!

Friday mornings are always a wake up to dissapointment. At least last week I was able to get the Purifier Robes from the engram. Don't need any other exotic chest pieces so the engram is useless this week.

Still bummed I missed Xur the week he was selling the Nothing Manacles and the gauntlet engram. Would have used many notes to get all the new exotic gauntlets.

I just got one of those the other day... But I have a Jolder's Hammer in all three flavors haha, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not yet.

Those manacles actually make the scatter grenade pretty powerful. I was taking two, three people with the grenade.

Is Universal Remote worth picking up? I haven't had it drop and I'm curious if the double shotgun build is worth the price. I have a ton of exotics I'd like to upgrade so I'd spent the coins on shards otherwise.

Ha! I also Re-rolled my OG Jolders Hammer yesterday, as well. I needed a good Arc MG because the Trials on hasn't been cutting it in 35 POE. Rolled Rangefinder, Field scout (!!!), and Crowd control.

Aggressive Ballistics
Hidden Hand
Injection Mold
Rangefinder

Seems to be the best perks. However BTRD's base specs are so good that still makes it the best machinegun in the entire game even without perfect rolls.

LOL at my scrubby post in the Alpha thread:

I've had a ton of fun in multiplayer, but goddamn that campaign gets hard. The Wizard regens way too fast for me to get him :(

I'd preordered just to get a beta key, but was unsure whether I'd end up actually day1ing. After this alpha, I am most definitely sticking with that preorder and getting this at launch. I get a Halo vibe, and I mean that in the best way possible. This game is shaping up to be truly fantastic.

I remember trying to kill the Wizard in that first mission using some shitty pulse rifle. It was impossible! I played Patrol and got a nice Hand Cannon and did it in one try :p I do remember shield regeneration being crazy, or maybe I was just very bad at the game haha

This is the same mission in which, even as the Daily Heroic nowadays, we can kill the wizard in one snipe. Not even a yellow bar....

Have it as well but have done nothing but sit in the vault. I already have Matedor 64, Secret Handshake, Found Verdict, Judgement VI, and Invective. All better shots IMHO especially with the reforge.

Yep, same as me.
I usually don't like FPS, and tried the alpha only because my girlfriend fell in love with the artistic direction of the game, but doesn't like to play alphas or betas (she doesn't like getting "spoiled" / having her progression reset): she looked at me while I was trying it, asking me to look closer at every rock or abandoned car of the cosmodrome. ^^
I remember switching from not caring at all about Destiny to waiting for its release with frothing demand after playing the alpha...

First Look Alpha began 1 year ago today. Can't believe it's been that long already.

I spent a ton of time with the Alpha (less with the Beta) and thought that I had my fill. I didn't even pick up my pre-order until two weeks after Destiny launched. Needless to say, my late start and casual playstyle has put me behind the curve, but I finally feel caught up, hitting 34 with all three of my characters just last night.

I feel like the only person in here who didn't actually play the Alpha. Loved the beta though, so here I am. :p

Edit: Was this cloak just in the Alpha? I don't remember it.
