Want to get iron banner etheric lights

I have one character at level 3. So is it faster to go from levels 3-5 in iron banner, or from 0-3 with an alt character and the xp boost

Fastest way to get there is to play on the 2nd last/last day for maximum bonus multiplier. That's tomorrow and Monday.

Save up your completed bounties and also turn them in on those days, ensure you have the tempered buff, class item, shader, etc equipped.

Filling Eris Morn's urn has been one of The most tedious fetch quest I've ever done. Let's hope there isn't more to do...

I should probably finish it then. Got to the point where you have to kill the guy at Skywatch and stopped.

Won't spoil anything, but the mission at the end of the urn quest is one of the most fun missions in the game.

Tedious and the reward is not worth it, but the final mission is great.

Urzok can be a pain, make sure you have a good arc shotgun to take his shields down..and keep them down. He doesn't have a lot of health but will regen shields very very quickly.

It's faster to go from 0-3 on alts once you've reached 3 on one, than from 3-5.

It does. But not dying becomes much more important. Gotta learn to not challenge even when a guy is weak sometimes.

This is the worst IB i've played yet. Granted I missed a few.

It's laggy, Thorn is just rampant, Shotguns are killing me from stupid range. The bounties suck. I'm not getting any enjoyment out of it, Grinding for the loot only. It's just a cluster fuck.

The event is something I used to look forward to but Trails is scratching that itch much better.

Yeah. Shot package is such a ridiculous perk to me. Have to be a mile away to avoid a one shot kill. Even if you are, he's blinking and sliding all the way to you... So hard to kill in time. People are just not afraid at ALL and sprint right at you with very likely success

Then you have the last word which can destroy at ridiculous range. Occasionally I see a messenger or red death and that's majority of pvp right there

Story missions don't have matchmaking so that people who don't subscribe to PS+ can still play them. To be fair, at launch Weekly Heroic strikes didn't have it - it was patched in several months into the game.

What? Lucky Raspberry is top-tier man. Spawning with grenades and giving them better range / chaining is one of the most useful things you can give a PvP Bladedancer. It'll often do a lot more for you than Third Man since this has a perk you use all match long and not the few times you pop a super.

When facing a good team in Trials I go full scumbag. I rock Alpha Lupi, but switch between round loading to Raspberry so I spawn with grenades, then switch back to Lupi.

I start every round with grenades but keep my fast revive. Ain't even ashamed. Arcbolt spam is a fantastic way to begin engagements with the upper hand. It tags for 122, meaning a single headshot with a Hand Cannon will finish them off if you can attack before they recover.

I actually just found a clip where Fodus and then myself had Fail Fists within 2 seconds of each other, maybe I'll gif it up. We were down 3-4 at the time and miraculously came back to still win that round and the decisive 9th round. Good stuff.

You haven't yet faced the Full Scumbag Dream Team I've imagined. It's:

1 Sunsingers wearing The Ram
Firebolt + Viking Funeral + Touch of Flame

2 Defender wearing Glasshouse
Weapons of Light + Bastion + Untouchable

All 3 using high impact snipers.

You might be saying: Defenders in a scumbag team? Get out of here. Except you'd be wrong. Weapons of Light will turn *every single sniper shot* into a Final Round equivalent. imagine a team having 2 rounds where they can pop a bubble and basically buff themselves into having a minute of uninterrupted, unmitigated "shot you in the toe and you're dead" douchebaggery.

And then imagine that they'll be able to do this for at the very least 2 rounds since they have 2 Defenders. And Heavy round doesn't even count so you're basically dealing with the maximum level of assholery for half the game.

Agreed. This is the least fun I ever had at Iron Banner and I played most of the previous ones. To be honest I don't much care about Thorn or Last Word but Shotguns have got to be nerfed somehow.

Sadly I don't have a group to play Trials with so Iron Banner will have to do.

Haha I just tried doing the same thing, except I couldn't kill him in time

An entire mag of my Song of Ir Yut (arc machine gun) couldn't bring his shields down.

Edit: ^ Song is not so great for Urzok. An arc shotty, especially Found Verdict is excellent, with Thunderlord as your exotic heavy if you have either. A Titan Defender with Saint helm to blind him is the best approach if possible.

Looks like no raids is going to happen.

I'd be down for as much raiding as possible later tonight if you're still around and we can get a group. I missed reset raids for the first time ever this week. All I've done since reset is 8 hours of Trials yesterday....

Not that I need any loot but raiding is always fun.
