I love how all those scrubs came running in to cap B after you did all the work.

Btw as a heads up my younger bro may be on my PS4 today to get that emblem from Bungie!

If he starts sending out invites or joining on ya sorry in advance >.<

He's actually quite good though :)

anybody want to help me get the last piece of ToO armor for my main?

can't use a mic though - had two wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and everything's still swollen.

Need one for last minute ToO. Just wanting to get the armor, so a relaxed run to get at least 5 wins.

see above, if you're still looking.

Guys, don't run reset raids.

You don't really want to raid. You're just being manipulated. You're a cog in a big evil machine. Bungie witch doctors have infused the UI and mechanics to make you
*think* you're having fun but you're really no better than a crack whore looking for a fix.

You can beat The Man. Open your eyes.

I made it through part of that video. Enough to realize it was some of the dumbest shit I've seen put out about a game in ages.

So what's the better gun to ascend? Vision of Confluence or Fate Bringer?

I love me a scout rifle. But everyone talks up Fatebringer.

Depends on your preferred play style. I have a Fatebringer, but not a VoC. If I did, I'd have ascended it first. Scout rifles are more versatile, and VoC is particularly useful when there is a solar burn and you can shred enemies from very long range. It's a monster in solar burn Nightfalls.

Feels weird not to be around reset time , traveling right now , using wifi hot spots wherever I can , feel free to steal whatever I could get

That settles it, VoC it is.

Really man ... you were on a roll last night (well, night for me).

I'm gonna use this sentence when my team is behind from now on;

"Alright ... lets not do that again. Lets stop this. Lets go!"

So many great Sniper shots. Great communication and gameplay. Wish you were on XBONE hehe ...

Best bits of the video:

- The reason Titanfall player base dropped off was it was too easy to get all the loot (lol)
- "Who would buy DLC if there's nothing to grind for?"
- The game's DLC has things that most of the player base wants. Therefore it should have been at launch of free as an apology (what the fuck?)
- Activision needs a return on its investment so they're making sure we get addicted

I posted on the thread but then decided to back off. Not worth it. I think most of us have all the gear we want. We play because we have fun not because I get a dopamine rush from the anticipation of an engram's payout.

The comments in the thread are rich. Someone is suggesting that the game is manipulative and addictive and that the community creates a self reinforcing bubble of supporting and goading each other's addiction by encouraging "you'll get _____ next time".

I've played this game for hundreds of hours. I love it. But the only reason I play it is because I have fun with you guys. I don't give a good damn about any packages or drops or whatever because at the end of the day, the actual entertainment comes from goofing around in a part chat.

I guess I'm just too deeply entranced by their black magic casino behavioral contraptions :(

damn so WTFisposhy is leaving for a month and there's a hardcore donation-train started by triplewreck going on. Guy has gotten $2k+ in less than an hour.

this community is awesome.

Well if you like Scouts hour answer is simple.

But Fatebringer is a Hand Cannon with Firefly. It crits for nearly 2k, meaning the splash damage from Firefly is enough to kill Tier-1 enemies. This means if there's 6 Thrall rushing you, 1 headshot on one of them wi kill them all.

With 13 in the mag (use Field Scout) and Outlaw, you won't have much reloading downtime. And it's Arc, which makes it ideal against Captains or shielded Knights/Harpies.

Hand Cannon with Firefly is insanity. Once you start killing entire mobs with a single bullet there's no going back. Ultimately they're both top tier and you'll want to ascend them both.

What is with this community and posting 40-60mb .gifs?! It's just so very frustrating. /vent.

Hope there's a decent roll on the Warlock PoE gear this week. It has been so lacklustre recently.

Posting them is bad.

Quoting the GIF seven million times across 3 pages? *rage*

You know if you're going to call me out, you should remember that I read this thread too. Also, it'd be better to do it in the other thread than to retreat to this thread and practically post 'hey guys look at these guys let's laugh at them lol'.

what I don't understand is how people say Destiny is content light. Even vanilla destiny. My first playthrough of just the "story" missions and the strikes took me about 10-12 hours.

Roughly twice as long as any Call of Duty game. EVER.

So not even counting any of the end game content it's already on par with most other games. it just feels light on content because of how much you had to run the same content every week / day.

So, B Day today. Still 8 hours to go before I can play...

The weekly report wasn't really clear. Do we get... whatever it is by loging into the game or can it also be via the website? Never really paid much attention to B Day before.

Oh, before I'm off for the night ocean,
you kinda proved my point because you immediately retreated to this thread in order to reaffirm your own beliefs, as well as seeking to be enabled for your opinion through others congratulating you on rooting out those evil accusers who think Destiny has addictive qualities implanted into it.
