So I have an arc Efrideet's Spear with Final Round and at the tank part of the Nightfall, I decided to shoot the arc cannon off the tank first so he wouldn't be such a threat. Little did I know that when the cannon exploded the entire tank would be finished off. Is this normal? I was even able to replicate it. Didn't need to shoot the weak spot or anything. It died instantly and the stealth waves and snipers don't spawn.

When you shoot the arc cannon there is some damage pass-through to the walker itself. Normally this isn't a big deal as the arc cannon dies long before the walker would. However, with the specialist arc burn far more damage is bleeding through to the walker for some reason. You can use any arc special weapon to kill the walker very quickly by shooting the arc cannon.

I used Queenbreakers' Bow. Lots of damage and pretty much infinite ammo.

I use a 24" BENQ 120Hz monitor, but I also have it hooked up to my gaming pc. You're going to want to find a low input lag monitor, 60Hz will be plenty for PS4.

I'm reading about BenQ now and I've been so out of touch these last few years, I had no idea BenQ had such a strong presence in gaming. Last I knew about them, they were just a low-end computer monitor company!

All Crucible modes have the same drop rates, HoW modes just include the newer maps but same drops. Trials is the only mode that has different drops, it only gives Trials stuff (armor, shader, ship) but no weapons or exotics.

I'm reading about BenQ now and I've been so out of touch these last few years, I had no idea BenQ had such a strong presence in gaming. Last I knew about them, they were just a low-end computer monitor company!

BenQ monitors are fantastic for PC Gaming, some of the best ones money can buy.

If you are strictly going to use it for PS4 I wouldn't recommend it though (due to the cost). I have a really high end gaming PC that takes full advantage of the 120Hz refresh rate, and I have my ps4 running off the 2nd hdmi port. I used to play on my 55" Samsung LED but the input lag was way too much for me to handle. Now I play my PS4 at my PC desk instead of the couch

For the PS4 you would be good with any 60Hz and low ms monitor really. You could take a look at Asus, Acer or even Dell monitors... let me see if I can pull some links for you...

I haven't played since before the first expansion. I only did VoG once, so I'm sort of coming in fresh again.

Ok, imo you should focus on getting the most essential guns in the game on both VoG and CE raids, while doing PoE and Trials to get level 34 gear.

You should do the story missions just to get those out of the way tho.

New Modifier combinations (Arc, Void, and Solar Burn will be removed)
Boss health is reduced (to compensate for the lack of burn)
Minions will spawn at predictable health intervals
Minor adjustment to the unit makeup of the combatant waves

Yes, you can get packages, armor and weapon from brother Vance in the reef depending on your wins. He was talking about the random drops from just paying trials - win or lose.

Pretty much. Packages and the armor & weapon for the week unlock as you accumulate wins. Go 9-0 for a trip to Mercury where you can open a chest with the best gear.

The armor and shader drops are random, but Trials gives out Passage Coins when you lose, and you use those to buy the boons that help you get more wins or forgive a loss. You can buy rewards packages at 3, 4, 6, and 8 wins plus an armor piece at 5 wins and a weapon at 7. The 6 and 8 win packages have Etheric Light and can also have bonus armor, weapons or even exotics. You can also get bonus stuff by going 9-0 but that's a tough task unless you get carried by pro players.

Supposedly they patched normal Crucible to give more rewards to the top players each match but I haven't seen a ton of evidence for that, it still seems pretty random but the drop rates for legendary weapons are reasonably high.
