Got a BTRD-345. That thing is cheat mode. Reforged a few times and got field choke, counterbalance, braced frame, rangefinder. It's a laser machine gun now. Maxed stability.


In my play session yesterday i decided to try jumper layout. Iron banner is not the ideal place to learn a new layout. It was a mess. After nova bombing a rock and nearly killing mylself i switched back to puppeteer. But my muscle memory was half puppeteer and half jumper. After many frustrating matches i got the hang of it and think it's really the superior layout. I'm just finding it awkward to bladedance.

Oh boy.

So, minus the 20 hours of me being at work, I've got a little over 30 hours to get from 33 to 34... which means I need Etheric Light. I have a VoC, but no arc shotgun (I have a Vestian Dynasty and Patience and Time, but the P&T isn't fully leveled yet) and a Pax Totalus Rocket Launcher. No Helm of Saint 14, no Ram, and no idea how to get RNGesus to help me out.

As much as I would love to finally get a group for Skolas, I'm not for wasting anyone's time. If I can't grind it out between now and Saturday and be prepared, I may have to forfeit my spot.

Any suggestions?

If you want a perfect shotgun, then re roll matador for aggressive ballistics, rifled barrel/reinforced barrel, shot package, knee pads.

Focus on getting to 34 first, the right weapons at 331 can still do enough damage to contribute. If you are missing gear try and get it from PoE 32 or have someone get you to five wins in ToO Friday. You can do a PoE 34 at level 33 and/or just play Iron Banner until you get to Level 3 and can buy a Etheric Light. I'll schedule you with another friend of mine so we have two experienced guys to help you along, but you will need to be 34 in order to stay alive. What exactly are you missing to get you from 34?

Not sure whether to ask for people to play PoE32 right away or do PoE 28 with randoms first to warm up. I need either etheric light or another piece of gear with light 42.

When I compare my god roll Matador and Fellwinters they appear identical. But in practice the Fellwinters seems to be better and with longer range... Maybe a hidden perk I don't know about.

Plenty good, Fourth Horseman and Plan C will be more than enough to deal with the captains. What time slot are you interested in? I'm trying to avoid sitting around Saturday waiting for people on the list to show up.

Dat feel when your looking at your iron curtain bounties and can't find 10 kills without dieing and realize you just pulled it off on your first match of the day.

Got booted three times in the middle of the Skolas fight, wasn't able to connect for like 15 minutes, then got back on without a problem. Eventually knocked him out but one of my fireteam members got frustrated and had to peace out.

Keep this roll!

Rangefinder can OHKO from further range, Shotpackage just makes it easier from any range.

Don't use Field Choke of you have Reinforced Barrel, use Accurised if you have it. There is no need to roll Agressive on the Matador since its impact is high enough, and the range has a cap.

It looks like you are two pieces of armor short of level 34. Guantlets and Boots. You can run PoE 32 to get an Armor Core to buy the helmet this week if you have an exotic pair of gauntlets at light level 42. Then you'll still need an etheric light from PoE 34 or Iron Banner Rank 3 to get boots to light level 42. It looks like your weapons are at 331 attack as well, you'll be doing reduced damage against the level 35 enemies. Is your VoC 365? Do you have a 365 rocket launcher or shotgun?

Yeah we could have been done an hour earlier, I feel real bad for Deviant, so unfair. I love the Skolas fight, I think it's the best in the game, which is why I don't mind running it with people. The rounds leading up to it can be tedious and I get over aggressive since I just want to get them done faster.

I'm collecting requests from those that were on the list first and then going to sort it out. Those are some popular times so we'll see. If they get over booked I'll ask around DGAF for a new sherpa to help out.

- smart drift control

Sometimes I wish the game had built in auto team balancing.

Started a skirmish match, and one minute into it two people from the opposing team had left.... leaving the player by himself. No one joined, and the game painfully went into overtime :/

Its actually pretty easy (My first time was on hard mode lol)

The majority of deaths and mistakes come from messing up the hoop jumping that bungie has you do before you can do damage to the bosses lol

That said Templar fight is legit challenging and tense. Atheon was actually the easiest section once I knew what to do. Effing confusing at first but quite easy

And I just noticed I have 3 messages on PSN from gaffers wanting to skirmish. One is from Kurumi. Sorry folks, I have notifications off since they block the radar so I didn't notice the messages till now.

Field Choke is fine then. Only difference would be minimal stability, which is not necessary.

Aggress would give you 5% more damage, but it's not needed. Rerolling is effectively a waste.

Heh. I may as well drop out now and hope I can get in before September 15th for the Triumph.

I already have an Armor Core that I haven't spent yet from the first time I did PoE 32. No exotic gauntlets. VoC isn't 365; need EL for that as well. No 365 Shotgun OR Rocket Launcher.

So, I would need 4 (FOUR!) Etheric Lights. At BEST, I could get 2 before Saturday with IB and PoE 34.

This isn't happening. Darn my adult responsibilities!

I'm going to drop out. Don't have me wasting your time, dude. I'm not worth it.

Looks like I'm only playing Destiny until Fallout 4.

Thank god for the app, I couldn't stand not seeing my radar so I switched everything to my phone. It's helped big time.
