BO3 doesn't feel like COD and I don't like it. For all of the nonsense in Destiny PvP I'd rather play it than BO3.
Yah i figured out why i stopped playing these games years ago.

Idk i always played CoD on PC and playing it on PS4 just.. ugh.
I stopped liking cod after MW2 anyway.
I find games like Halo more skill based as you still have a chance to react and try to counter the enemy.
CoD is all about spraying the most bullets down a hallway.
Nope. Gotta select them manually. The good news is they count as 3 and you can just run to the Nexus/Phogoth bosses.

No. You need to select lower level strikes manually. But you'll get 3 points if you are in a team for each strike.

I agree. Playing a bit of the beta it's just way too fast to kill or die. I don't know the ins/outs of high level cod play though so I'm sure there is depth there. It seems that cod rewards fast reflexes and map control above actual shooting skill. To each their own, but I enjoy games where you are more rewarded for headshots than for hiding in corners wrecking people while hip firing.

You can only at wipe time... you have only a few seconds to join.
You can't join in the middle of the battle.

Yes, most of the time it requires a wipe and it's like a 5 second window. Just invite the person to the party and let them know you're wiping so he/she can monitor your status screen when the Join becomes active.

You can, you just have to wipe and respawn in the airlock. There's a few second window when they can join. I just sent Thaennon a FR, send me a party invite if you have a party chat going.

I do fairly well on PC cause laser aim but my potato aim on console really mess that up.
Also each kill just feels a bit meh, compared to downing a hunter blade dancing.
And killstreaks, spawn killing, which happens in Destiny but not nearly as much as BO3.
Not for me.
Might get it on sale for Zombies but then id have to get the 5 DLCs for $15 to get 1 or 2 zombie maps.

I had forgotten I had the team set to Public and somebody joined me while AFK (should it be AFG instead?) And had to stop to run for the black garden xD.
You kill Skolas more in a week than I have since launch, and you're the kind of guy who brings a calculator to a gunfight so I'd be inclined to trust this. But I feel - and this may just be a nasty negative Placebo from knowing beforehand that there's small arms - that shot gunning Captains seems trickier.

Yeah I was really disappointed with how lame the specialist abilities felt compared to popping a super in Destiny. From what I played I never had a reason to aim for headshots either, which could be because I'm a cod scrub
Yes. I figured everyone knew that by now, it seems to come up every day or two in this thread. It gives you credit for every person you have in the Strike when it ends, I'm not exactly clear on if they have to be there until the end of the 30-second countdown though. So like etho said you could do it with 84 strikes if you had all 3 people stay until the end every time.
I've just been knocking them out randomly, or if I had the Juju bounty etc. It's easier on days like today when either Nexus Mind or Summoning Pits is a daily bounty since those strikes are arguably the fastest with a good group, and if it's a daily you'll have a lot of higher level players hop in, so you should be getting sub-10 minute clears with a group of 33/34's. I've been combining that with getting the last of my fusion rifle/hand cannon/sidearm kills etc.

Sure I could do another run in a bit. I was going to hop in to help these other guys but not getting any responses for 10 minutes now. I may just start a new PoE35 if I don't hear back soon, then you and whoever else could join when ready.

I missed the very start of the Redbull tourney, but from what I saw everyone was only using that Suros pulse rifle.
Also, smoke looks painfully underpowered. I like it in theory, but I thought the slowdown would be similar to the wizard poison where it would stop a jump etc. People are flying straight through it giving zero fucks. I would have like to have seen the loadouts, because I didn't know the smoke DoT would stop ticking as soon a target left the smoke.
Perhaps the Envenom perk will having it function similar to the Firebolt DoT.
It's going to take A LOT for me to give up GG and my throwing knives. The suppression effect is cool and all, but why go through all that when I can simply kill my target with GG.
Now if they gave hunters the titan Suppression grenade instead of the shit Spike grenade, then I could be much more interested.

Does killing Skolas get you the triumph? Or is it actually clearing the encounter with Mines and everything?
If it's just Skolas Drizz you could probably host like a Sunday session camping the checkpoint and getting people who need the Triumph their kill more efficiently
I'm fairly confident the chances of this working must be higher than 1%. Maybe even like 2% Kappa
