So I've been farming the shrine of oryx for the last hour or so with some successful results:

I've worked out it takes on average of 3 minutes and 40 seconds to do a run (including killing the ogre and the high level enemies in the next room).

I've completed the run a few times and average around 700 glimmer a run. Also picked up 3 rare engrams and a legendary one in my hour there. OH and 10 silken codex (200 glimmer each).

So in an hour I've made 12,700 glimmer and have 3 engrams to decrypt. Plus as an added bonus I upgraded my subclass twice. Not bad really.

Wait, I'm supposed to kill the enemies in the next room as well?

the patch was just bug fixes. three i can confirm are

• players being able to talk in fireteams
• legendary engrams decrypting into legendary items
• high scoring players in the crucible receiving rewards

i feel like every farming method is bunk. just pick an area with a lot of enemies, kill enemies fast, have them respawn fast, kill more enemies, have loot drop, kill more enemies, eventually you'll get rare shit

If I have one issue with the game it's this.




I shouldn't lead my team with a 5 KDR and be the only one who doesn't get a freaking drop. What's the point of even trying to do well? Might as well just phone it in and hope for something good. I know this has been mentioned before, but damn is it annoying.

Somewhat unrelated.
For all those who are playing Destiny via remote play and wants to access party system as well. following steps seems to work for me.

1) create party on vita, invite friends
2) start remote play
3) when it's searching for the ps4 wait for it to search via the Internet, while the vita is doing that, quickly return to the party system reconnect to the chat, and tab back into the remote play which should still be searching for you ps4.
4) play destiny while shouting at stupid boss design with friends.

1- Rare Titan Helm - my guy's a warlock
2. Uncommon Shingen
3 - Legendary Warlock Armour - awesome

And Jester Apogee is the best shader ever

Where are you guys getting these shaders that actually look good at? All the ones you can buy at the tower look like shit. I'm level 24 and I've yet to find any shaders in the wild or anything.

The CoD pre-order one is actually pretty decent if you're desperate for a change. Pre-order, cancel, done.

I don't recall players in fireteams not being able to talk.

I've had several legendary engrams not decrypt into legendary items since the patch.

Low scoring players have still been receiving rewards more often than high scoring players.

First part actually is a bug that sometimes crops up on X1. Leaving and reentering the fireteam generally solves it.

100% anecdotal but I have 2 legendary engrams in < 2 hours after the patch and 0 in the entirety of my playtime prior to the patch.

yeah about the same here. Except I had gotten 1 before the patch.

I completed the lv 28 nightfall and none of us got exotics. One guy got nothing, the other got a couple blues and I got something like 5 strange coins.

I'd be fucking ecstatic with 5 strange coins. They're extremely hard to come by for me. Did the public event yesterday and got some kind of material instead.

There was someone on my team yesterday that stayed in one place for multiple matches to only get a reward afterward. They didn't try to shoot anyone.

I tried it with lvl 20 but it was really hard... so I will try again with level 24 today.

PS. I finished the Strike lvl 24 yesterday with lvl 22... I was too weak but manage to win and at some time I was the only not dead in the field I could revive a mate running from enemies close to 0 health.

Yup past the ogre there's another room with 8 or so yellow bar enemies netting you 43 glimmer each.

you can do level 22 and 24 with a team of somewhat same level people easily, but don do the level 26 one just yet

I don't feel that it is to be honest. The benefit is more Vanguard marks and more rep points.

i like the asymmetric hoods and the scarfs that are sorta off to the side. not really digging the long capes either.

I'm getting around 340 glimmer plus any additional engrams and silken codexes from just running the one room by itself every 40 seconds.

Gotta say I really like most of the PvP maps. Shores of Time, Exodus Blue, and Rusted Lands are all classic Bungie maps for me. Although, that big ass moon map and Bastion are so-so for me.
