Yep, 3oC work on Warpriest, Golgi, and the Shades during Oryx. Not Oryx himself though. Of course you can also get blue and purple engram drops from regular enemies.

Transmogging old gear would be amazing, but I don't see Bungie going that route. Shame, too. That would open up so much end game variety. As is, everyone 295+ and above are running around like clones.
