Forge isn't out yet so dunno yet.
MP is miles better than the last few Halos and more fun than Destiny now, but not more than Destiny then.
The holy days of TLW were the best. Where aggressive play was rewarded.

The secret to beating Oryx on heroic when Liquidsnake is on your team:
Send Liquid to the middle to kind of just hang out there the whole time.

They're different games though. Destiny was a game where an individual could do amazing stuff and that was exciting. Halo's always been more about amazing things the team can do.
I flew a Banshee around to cover my friend in a tank while the rest of our team led a ground assault on the enemy's stronghold. You can't make that shit up.

Also worth noting the roll on the vendor version overall - extended mag and triple tap can give you a really deep clip.

Having breathing room is a good thing. The game needs twice its TTK, but only coupled with big special ammo changes. Otherwise everything literally will be shotguns.

Ahh PS4. I'm only a 295 on XB1 (although doing a Normal run tonight)
I actually like the current TTK because, unlike Halo, I can play solo and do really well without having to worry about team shooting.
Shotguns are still too prevalent, though.

Those pools of light with a light mine hovering over it will summon them. Usually plenty of them around the Breach area.

There's orbs in the Breach or Mausoleum. It's the same event no matter which one you stand in.
I ground pounded a hunter while I simultaneously punted another Spartan off the side of the map... And I lived to tell the tale.

agreed. one of my most vivid memories in halo 2 was in team slayer. 48 to 49. the map was that outdoors one in some desert or something, and there's this basic stone fortress thing. the covenant carbine and laser sniper rifle was on this map if that helps identify it.
we were blue and losing. red team held the fort. we come up with a plan to storm the base from the back with a warthog while i snipe one to tie the game at the very least.
my teammates hop in a hog and leave me with my sniper rifle. they head into the tunnel. time's ticking, right?
i pop the guy off the fort's turret. my team storms in with the warthog and get a kill. we win 50-49.
