Grind 150 candy bars at a chance to get a masK that is RNG that is required to complete a quest. There are rare masks which will delete after November 9th. If u use glue on rare it will become legendary which you can keep. Glue can only be bought or got from dismantling legendary.
Or you can spend real money and hope RNG rewards you. Yes you read that correct, pay money for RNG

Pretty things that actually have no applicable use, because they take up your helmet slot and have no stats.

There's only 3 things Bungie could add to Destiny that would get me to spend more money on it. Thriller dance was one of them.
REQ packs on the other hand are...tempting. That feeling when you need a Tank to defend your base and you only have Ghost cards...

Flaming skull mask and other shenanigans, if you wan't none of that then there is no reason. Personally i'm not taking the skull mask off my titan, but i'll delete all the others I get.

I'm having a hard time picking between this and omolon bullshit in the chamber. I feel like i'm more accurate with 1000 yard, but bullshit in the chamber is so satisfying.

Trials is a weird thing to balance and I don't envy them on this; I understand them wanting to get rid of carrying, but by having the gear drop at HM light levels it's only going to encourage it even more. I found out a couple weeks ago one of the people I know was doing carries for actual money, and I imagine this would make things even more lucrative, at least potentially. On the other hand if Trials gear capped at 310 people would complain (rightfully) about rewards not being worth it. I'll wind up doing one Trials go just to get rid of this one goddamn Osiris Boon I have been stuck with on my character screen for the past ~6 weeks or whatever, it's driving me up the wall.

Yeah, only getting to keep a maximum of two masks without paying money combined with the masks taking up your armor slot kinda full dead stopped any interest I had in the event. I don't necessarily mind them charging for the purple bags, but making it the only way to get more glue PLUS having the one mask only available as a RNG drop from blind real money bags is kinda dirty. If you're gonna lock stuff up exclusively behind a paywall don't make it random -_-. I'll wind up keeping two legendary masks because why not, but this also really highlights that they need vanity slot(s) for gear (or they should have allowed transfusing or something to allow the masks to have stats).

They said the armor drops in Trials would be equivalent to the armor in KF Hard Mode.
