Somebody die and pass it? Otherwise I dunno. Saw some streamers already do it 2 cycle w different brand holders and got fragments. Someone died too and that still didn't matter.

Any sign of 50 fragments unlocking anything new? e.g. a time gated quest?

Cool thanks. Guess I'll be farming Fatebringer 2.0 and Warlock gloves this week. Not much interest in CM warpriest as I pretty much have all my important heavies and secondaries @ 320.
I have the CP. I'd be up for doing in in about 30 mins if we can get a group together.
I'm new to HM/CM though, so some patience may be required

What would be the recommended light level to partake in a hard raid/warpriest CM?

300+ for everything except Oryx, then it's 310+ recommended.

It's probably the best gun in the game for PvP atm.
Same as before 310/320 special/heavy and 310/320 artifacts.

It kills in three body shots.
Range, stability, mag size, fire rate and DoT.
Don't get the blindspot for this weapon at Bungie. It's a crutch for some people, lucky it's a bit a poo in Trials and IB.
