Thanks guys! I've tried jumping into the fray when I see someone attacking the wolves, and I've even gotten the subsequent reward for participating. It was mostly when I'm alone and try to initiate.

Basically, I'm just a minor annoyance to these guys. I'm pretty much a fly.

This is probably a stupid question, but in a previous post I mentioned that I started playing again. I'm currently a level 17. My question is in regards to the prowling wolves. I can't seem to do any significant damage to them. Anytime I attack, I see that they're immune or that they are resistant.

What's the issue here? Is it simply that my level is too low to phase these guys?

exactly that. house of wolves content is geared for level 30-34, iirc.

Yes. If you're one level below an enemy, you're doing 30% less damage. Two levels below an enemy, 60% less damage. If your level is even lower, you can't damage them at all.

You need to be within 3 levels of your enemy or you do basically no damage.
Most of the wolves are level 28, you are 11 levels under the recommended light level to deal full damage.
If you see question marks where the level should be, just run away.

What they said, but I'm pretty sure you CAN tag along while other people actually damage/kill them, though, and get the chest, as long as you shoot at and hit the Wolves. I'm pretty sure I rode some coattails when I was leveling my hunter, but it's possible I've made this up.

You may see where I am going with this, but I'm wondering how to get more than 3 people that you know together in an area (other than a Raid of course).

iirc you go to orbit.

I wonder if "sweaty" instancing might work. Load patrol instances (or cross into the region of the patrol the public event thing is) at the same time until you load the same instance. Could probably stack the deck by setting up fireteams with leaders that are close to each other geographically.

Target & BigW are great for launch games. I picked up MGS5 for $69 from jbhifi by price matching to target. So wouldn't be surprised if legendary physical edition is $69 at launch as well. Pretty crazy we'll be able to pick up legendary for the same price as the stand alone TTK digital edition here in Aus.

Recommended level for prowling wolves is level 30.

In preparation for TTK is anyone around to help a lowly 32 Titan through Skolas PoE so that he can get to 34 before the week is up (and complete the Triumphs?)

Wait, didn't you get to 33 yesterday with the helmet from poe armor core, crota gloves/boots? Also you only have a few days left to experience the might of the fatebringer, so level it up asap.

3615 grimoire get. Max sidearm kills done. Just rank 3 vip and public events then all pve stuff is done.

Rank 3 skirmish and warlock kills are the easy pvp I need. Rank 2 and 3 for salvage and rumble are the painful ones

Hahaha I never forget about friends!! You know there's not much to do these days in Destiny. I do 3x Nightfalls, then a few tickets of Trials here and there, mostly trying to help people get 5+ wins. I'm going to try to help a Gaffer this weekend (on PS4), always up for playing!

EDIT: Also, I finally beat another game. My first game beat since Bloodborne like 4 months ago hahaha. Bastion! Great 6-7 hour little game.

Salvage needs to have more points for relic stuff. Matches last too long and kills are almost more important than grabbing points.

Sorry to hear that but glad it wasn't a disaster. I ended up taking a different route when i came into my appointment with the specialists. They were going to numb me and perform and I asked how long the healing time is and they said 14 days. I told them I'm on vacation in 10 days and so they gave me acids and medicine and whatnot to help with it in the meantime. So hopefully it doesn't get worse :\

It's pretty rough, I haven't been able to get through it yet. We got very close with all the mines down but things went bad...and then people are just done with trying.

Hopefully there will be some folks around to help this last weekend before the timer is up.
