Anyone post Dan Amrich's (OXM, Activision social media manager) 3,700 word expose?

Guess they took some tips from valve.Every desk at Bungie is on wheels, so people can move and collaborate as the projects needs dictate.
Reminds me of the original design for New Mombassa from the 2003 Halo 2 demo.

If the game is not a commercial success is Bungie in trouble?

Single-player is a valid option so I am good.
But 360/PS3 only or also next-gen?
also next gen.
Venus is mentioned in several articles. With jungles.Since the Moon, Mars and Earth City hub are labeled as visitable locations- I'm guessing so. Now Venus hinted too.
Cool, would have been a shame to waste all this goodness on the has been-gen.

Those two guns in first-person look boring, not digging the sight or scope.
(all others look great, especially the sniper)

anyone else creeped out that this guy keeps "My body is" set to paste at all times on his phone...
So it's 'always online' but not an MMO? Is that a fancy way of saying this has restrictive DRM?
Alpha. Probably not finished designs at all.

Also, while the game looks nice, is it just me or is already have pre-orders up a little...arrogant?
Still interested, but the footage didn't really grab me. It was pretty, sure, but I'm not exactly sure about gameplay. Will keep an eye on it for a while anyway.

Did i hear right, you don´t have to play the "missions" (meaning everything that´s not PvP) with other people? So it can be like a singleplayer game?

Joes current player is a Warlock, whose apparently more mystical powers were described as like hitting someone in the face with a piece of the sun. His friend Jason (presumably Jones) plays a Titan, the warrior class, and together they meet in the Overwatch Sector of the Tower. Its one of the social spaces in Destiny, where players might be chatting, gambling for gear, or just enjoying the view. Joe and Jason then head to the spaceport, board Joes ship (which Jason has teasingly nicknamed The Space Corolla) and take off for Mars, where they intend to explore a lost human civilization the precious remains of our Golden Age.
Their destination is the Dust Palace, a deadly area in the Exclusion Zone guarded by the Sand Eaters. Joe scoped it out earlier, but alone at night, it was too dangerous. By day with Jason for backup, this mission is more manageable, and they make quick work of the guards until enemy reinforcements drop out of the sky. Theyre in trouble, but since its a public area, a friendly stranger swoop in to save their asses. Every time this happens, its amazing, enthuses Staten. It just doesnt happen in any other shooter.

Thank youyessir

Or, they could be changed very little, if any.
Has there been any mention of books or other media to accompany Destiny's release ?
The oneofswords article actually describes the games pretty well. He seems to have internalized a lot of the info and organized it well. Oh man, if Bungie manage to pull this off:
