I guessed 5/10. So close
I really enjoy cinematic games, how is Destiny on this? Is it similar to Halo in that sense?
Does Destiny mark the official turning point in gamers' attitudes toward DLC? I've never seen so many, "Well, they have a good foundation, they just need to release more DLC," comments for a game. It's like we've gone from DLC being somewhat rare and often annoying, to expected, to actually being a reason to cut the base game some slack at launch.
I think Destiny 2 will be really great
Grinding is a term that pretty much needs to be nuked from the gamer lexicon, because one person's grinding is another person's content.
If I like it, it's content.
If I don't, it's grinding.
Because the fact of the matter is every game has repeat content in it, whether it's the hours spent walking through an RPG or practicing multi-player matches to get better. It's all "grinding".
Are you super good with precision shots or something? You may just be really good at the game.
I think Bungie/Activision is going to have a hard time pulling a Destiny again. They will be heavily scrutinized, and of course Bungie is going to be in full damage control.
I'm usually around 40-50% precision kills. Not sure if that's good or not compared to everyone else.
Yeh it's pretty mind blowing the amount of posters happy to shell out to complete Destiny whilst every other game with a season pass or DLC gets slated to shit.

Not only that, still nos ales PR, they threw in a lot of money at bungie because it was bungie, but clearly they lost their way (and some employees apparently) when making Destiny.
In fact, i would dare say Destiny got rushed out on finished. There was probably supposed to be more planets, newer gameplay elements, more than one zone per planet, and a lot more interactivity.
Instead we literally got Killzone Shadow Fall again, but in space, and a SP mode that doesn't really matter.
GAF likes to give review sites crap about favoring large AAA IPs, but let's look at how the new and highly hyped AAA franchises have started out:
Titanfall - 86
Watch Dogs - 80
Destiny - 77
Seems like a pretty fair situation to me.
Solid and concise review highlighting the main issues with the game. I don't get all the hate on Polygon sometimes.

It's interesting that overall content, narrative, and a more compelling single player campaign are things that are held against Destiny to such harsh detriment, things that are further lacking in Tiatnfall, but that many gave the game comparative passes on.
It's laughable that most of the big sites haven't put their reviews out yet. They're waiting for each other to shoot first to avoid being accused of rushing their review. The reality is, when they receive games early and can play in secret, they play the bare minimum.
Level7.Nu - 5/10. Lowest metacritic qualified review so far.

Google Translated (does a decent job of it)
The fact that there are F2P games which offer more content than Destiny is a little sad. Something like Planetside 2 puts this game to shame.

Whatever their conclusion, their idea of using two reviewers, one specialized in shooters and one in MMO, was good.

Probably because Titanfall doesn't lean on its story/"campaign" much. It's interesting that overall content, narrative, and a more compelling single player campaign are things that are held against Destiny to such harsh detriment, things that are further lacking in Tiatnfall, but that many have given the game passes on, comparatively speaking.
Because Titanfall just lacks a single player campaign, whereas Destiny's is actively bad. It's easier to knock points off for a feature done poorly than it is for a feature that isn't implemented at all.

Heroic strike was a lot more difficult though. I think you need three players all consistently focusing fire on the same head to get through that in the same kind of way.
That would be awful if they did do thatDestiny 2 no campaign confirmed. I bet they go full MMO next go round.
Echoes my feelings perfectly, especially complaints about the endgame.
What I think is more interesting is that the more "authoritative" reviewers are lambasting the game, while most of the randoms on MC are really positive.

Bungie definitely has the chance to redeem themselves within the next six months or so and fix a lot of the glaring issues, along with content updates. If they wait to long I think they will lose a lot of people. There is a very solid framework and great gameplay here, they just need to build upon it.

What im gathering as well. Crazy to see it turn out this way though.
