So the Legendary Marks reward from the Daily Crucible match is port account and not per player?

I did it on my hunter and when I went to do it with me Titan it was already filled.

Can anyone confirm?

Yes, this is mainly due to the fact that Legendary Marks, unlike Crucible and Vanguard marks, are account bound rather than per character.

usually I would say no it's not worth it, this time though, the strike they included is a whole lot better than the other two ps4 exclusive strikes

The Patrols and open areas in some missions are open to other players (though limited to whatever the world can hold - guessing that is similar numbers to the tower?).

Always go with the system where your friends are. That said, make sure they play the game.

DGAF is full of both and it be easy to pick up friends on any system.

Content wise, it's not terribly different. But you will lose out on 1-2 strikes, PVP maps, and high level weapons.

Wait what is this gear infusion and how do you do it?

Upgrades attk or defense of lower valued LEGENDARY gear by sacrificing higher valued gear. It's basically good for if you like certain gear and want to keep them but it's too low leveled for you to progress.

Infusion example

100 Legendary gear of any subclass
200 rare/legendary gear of any subclass

200 gear --- infusion ---> 100 gear
*explosion*
100 gear is now 200 gear
Original 200 gear is dismantled


Caveats:
Requires 1 mote of light
Weapon parts
Glimmer
And 3 marks
Weapon must be legendary to increase
Increased Weapon does no always exactly reach the same attack
MUST occupy same slot. Meaning primary to primary, special to special, boots to boots. Doesn't matter the type of weapon (shotgun, sniper, etc.) doesn't matter subclass armor is for (hunter, Titan, etc.).

PSA: In the restorative mind strike. Get out of the fucking line of sight of the boss when Medusa's stare is active. Jesus we wiped 3 times at the end because of that. Heroic difficulty made it much harder.

They've reworked all the year one missions of the game to flow better into each other (Vanilla Destiny, with both expansions) and they're actually a story now that makes sense for the Taken King.

Also once the main story is done, there's quests for a lot of content that extends the story out, whereas previously it was: finish story, then do raids / strikes / patrol missions / PvP.

The Taken King content is far and away better than most things they did in the original Destiny.

Considering crucible, vanguard, and factions all give a legendary upon leveling up. Cryptatch should as well.

Feeling an itch to get back into Destiny, but not wanting to invest $40 into it. I was burned so badly by launch and the expansion pass. Actually, I ended up breaking even with selling the Dinkbot and using the money from that whole Gamestop deal last Summer. Bought it for PS4 and Xbox One and quickly realized I could only keep up with friends on one console. Put about 100 hours into the base content, if you include the beta and alpha add 30 hours or so.

The issue with waiting for a price drop ($20 is optimal) is that everyone (friends) will have burned through the content and not want to go back through with me. I've tried to read up on the buying structure for this expansion, but it's genuinely confusing. I own the Digital Collector's Edition on Xbox One, and as far as I can see $40 is the cheapest tier.

i asked this before, but no one had a definitive answer. i completed vanilla destiny, but never got any of the dlc. i bought the taken king disc and loaded up my old character (level 28 i believe). on the solar system map i see icons for the house of wolves and taken king missions, but nothing for the dark below. is this normal? has anyone else run into this?

P.S. I am having a hard time earning marks and the drops are abysmal. One in every 30 or so decrypt into something higher than what I have. Ghost and Heavy are non existent drops for me so far, I did get a sniper with Triple Tap and Explosive Rounds.
Come on RNGesus step your game up, Level 270 I think so far, Thanks to spending my commendations and 80 heavy to get a Vanguard package Crest of Alpha Lupi Exotic and DO Legendary Helmet.

Yeah, $40 is the cheapest entry point to TTK and that assumes you own all previous content (vanilla + season pass).

On the Solar System map or within individual planets? It's been a while but all of the Dark Below missions are on existing planets, whereas House of Wolves added the Reef (and has missions on other planets as well). If you go to Earth, for example, you should be able to find Fist of Crota which is the first TDB mission. I think there should be a quest you can pick up for Dark Below stuff that should help? If so it's probably in the Abandoned Quests kiosk by Cayde-6 and company.

I was thinking because people have huge piles of them laying around and they drop like crazy that they would switch Xur to only take Marks for his stuff.


I have yet to touch my 400 motes/coins and I have around 30 motes on my at all times even though I use them like crazy to upgrade weapons/gear.

Yup I'm getting the same issue right now. Got stuck loading during a strike. Wound up having to do a full reset and now I'm getting the above error.
