Are you level 40 yet? Once you're level 40 the daily heroic and daily crucible give marks, and then weekly strikes. Then there are some quests after the main one is done that give marks.

so i had gotten rid of my original copy of destiny, but now have the new disc version that has the base game, two expansions, and ttk incldued. will i be able to go back and play the original games missions and things with this even though i already completed them or is it going to force me to do all of the new content?

it's actually really easy once you know the grinding spot. Usually 2 or 3 flakes per run.

Level is just a gear limiter honestly. Gear takes a bit longer to get up but their drop system is waaaaaaaay improved.

40 took an hour 38 from 34 took seconds Light Levels is where the grind is at

Just leveled the cryptarch at the Reef and he didn't give me a package at all.

Leveled the one at the tower yesterday (several times) and received a package each time.


EDIT: package was at the cryptarch at the tower. Reed cryptarch doesn't have authority to give packages.

Haven't seen anybody with a year 2 exotic yet due to the not being able to grind out many legendary marks yet. I'm pretty sure it's 150 legendary marks if I remember. I know Nechrochasm isn't a year 2 exotic. Off the top of my head I know The Last Word, Suros Regime, Truth, Thunderlord and that's all I remember lol

I'm sure someone has a full list. Also someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm going 100% off memory.

This was one of the biggest jokes of the vanilla game. They hired major talent, recognizable and notable actors:

And then made them all fucking vendors or announcers with literally a page or two of dialog. Like, what the fuck happened?

The first story mission in TTK almost doubles the dialog and increases the amount of personality several of the characters have by a large magnitude compared to the vanilla game.

Haha even this post is an understatement. The drop system actually makes sense now. It really is smart loot and not straight up lottery winnings lol.

I hope they can get Gina Torres as *insert name of Warlock Vanguard here* to do more in future story stuff. That character definitely got the end of the stick compared to the other two Vanguards in the main missions.

Did you check every corner of the tower? You may have a dead orbit quest but it's bugged. Get closer to the hanger and see if anything shows up or just run around the entire tower.

So I can't help but feel like I'm at a disadvantage in Crucible because I don't have a Messenger. Even if I do well I think I could've done even better if I had one, and every time I get killed by it just rubs more dirt in the wound.

The last time I was in this exact same position was when I was waiting for a Hawkmoon to drop. And I was right to feel that way, because Hawkmoon legitimately used to arguably be the best weapon in PvP.

Anyone know when Vance will be due to have the Messenger again?

That's once a day, but quests explicitly tell you when you get legendary marks. I whipped out 75 marks day 1 and only intended for about half of them.
