DestinyGAF Clan -> Request thread

I'm thinking about promoting some people to become admins.

Shall I promote them based on who joined the group first? or based on time zones?

Obviously I cant be on all the time. Though I will try.

I have the East Coast US time zone. So if anyone else willing to take other timezones. speak up.

I would be up for UK / EU time zone

As to time zones I'm central. I joined in late but if no one else is willing to be admin in central I'll take it.

funny thing. I was planning on promoting you anyway lol since you were the first one to join the group.

Alright. I will make a thread on the group forum about Appointed Admins. So if you have a questions or complaints or whatever. please go to that thread. you will find the admin responsible for your particular timezones.

Future admins. please, I trust you to be professional and friendly. feel free to mesaage me on there if you need to discuss anything.

Can we please stop all of this spin-off clan / group / whatever-stuff? There was supposed to be a DestinyGAF clan made by someone here on GAF, and all of this additional group splintering / alternate clans done by people that aren't the guy who was supposed to be doing the clan is very confusing and unnecessary. There should be a single DestinyGAF clan with platform lists in the OT.

Let's at least move the DestinyGAF clan debate over to a single thread, because having different people running different clans / groups under the same name via separate threads without consulting each other is confusing, unnecessary and an overall bad idea, no matter the amount of explanation in the OP.

Also, you will be able to make groups within a clan, so no need for there to be spin-off groups outside of the one official clan, as dividing groups based on platforms can be done within the clan itself.

This is what happens though when things aren't discussed fully, I and many others I'm sure had no idea that someone had the exclusive rights to create a DestinyGAF clan or that this had been discussed.

Did you set up the original? I'm absolutely confused. I was always tagged as DestinyGAF in the Alpha. I for one appreciated you setting it up :-)

And as much as I'm grateful for folks doing all this stuff, this is absolutely spot on. It also kind of undermines what was there before.

I felt like we shouldnt have a general Destiny Group or Clan. we should have specific platform group/clan.

Thats why I created this group. So all the PS4 members can be under one roof.

Edit: as I previously said. This is a GROUP for PS4 members only. make it easier for people to make new friends and stuff.

ONCE the game is released and clan become available. I will make sure to create a PS4 ONLY Clan so everyone in this group can join.

Honestly having a system specific group/clan will create a lot less confusion and the admins for that group/clan will only have to worry about the people on that particular platform.

Everyone has been approved by Jburton. please quote everyone so they know that they been approved. it help us keep track of which names has been approved and which has not shown up/ or matches up yet.

if anyone want to become an admin, PM me. I need people who are responsible, professional and be willing to work with zero pay :P

need admins for other time zones. So far we got one for East Coast and UK.

We can have up to 2 Admins per time zone though.

Ok, but it may be advisable to ask members to join both groups before we have a riot. I'm assuming PsychoRaven will also be on PS4 too so the admin rights should be handed over to him.
