I think discussion among admins will be this weekend to discuss how clans will be distributed once we are able to make them. As of right now it looks like there's a 150 person cap per clan. I think current plans are to have one puppet/master clan called Destinygaf that will just be used as the central hub for the alliance among all the other clans. We will probably end up with close to 800 members by beta time so that's like 6 clans from gaf itself. Again nothing has really been discussed right now it will be all decided before beta starts though (hopefully)

OK thanks for update. If you have one group for more casual players feel free to stick me in that one. Since becoming a dad my time is limited. Luckily I heard this plays pretty well via remote play so I should still be able to play most nights.

I suggest going to the Bungie site then the destiny gaf group forum and looking for a thread about your time zone. There you can search for a fireteam that has limited time to play.
