I couldn’t overlook all the subtextual political and social commentary they tried to inject into DMC, I haven’t been back since watching episode 1.

Yeah, I started looking at reactions to the show on Twitter and people aren’t happy.

I can’t stand modern writing like this so I’ll never watch it.

Me neither - some Korean studio. They’re credited with quite a lot of support work. They also did 2D animations in cutscenes for Sackboy: A Big Adventure.

I thought the animation in the first episode was decent, I didn’t really have an issue with it.

Honestly, one of the most poorly written shows ive seen in a while, why do the characters say balls all the time, its like a 15 year old wrote this.

Bad CGI and its random, ultra religious VP makes no sense, cringy fat boy, america fuck ya hell invasion was weird, demon families i have no issue with but it felt weirdly lazy because its far too common a theme, and the lady, terribly childish wiring with bad jokes and insults.

came here wondering if I was gonna be giving this show a go. Seems like they went the direction of castlevania then. Shame though cause the modern writing really ruined some good potential content. Guess im skipping straight to watching moonrise
