The opposite... keep reading the thread.
I not only proved and showed actual facts about what happened in his cherry picked picture... it was even easy because DF talking about it pretty clear.
But hey you are a bit late I guess... so read the full thread first and later ask questions... because you are just circling around about topics already discussed.
As always, it's a matter of preference, which is fine. As you said, the Xbox One X version tends to have higher resolutions all around whereas the the Series S tends to have higher lows during intense firefights. Its lower threshold is higher in both fps and resolution when things are hectic but outside of these scenarios, the One X version seems to offer better clarity due to higher resolution. The framerate is great on both consoles but the Ryzen 2 architecture of the Series S show its muscle when things get hectic.
Other than that, there's obviously a LOD discrepancy between both consoles, which favor the Series S, at least, on the picture shown above. There's also the matter of loading which is quite a bit better on the Series S. With all of this combined, would it be hard to believe that someone could favor the Series S version over the One X version due solely to its stability? I mean let's be rational here. The LOD difference isn't going to annoy anyone currently playing the One X version. The LOD difference isn't going to annoy 95% of the people who can spot the difference between the 2. It's that insignificant. The resolution difference is there. It's perceptible on screenshots. In the fire of the action, very much less so. That leaves the framerate issues during intense firefights. This might annoy some people. Most will probably don't care since this isn't dropping so low that it gets unplayable, plus the majority of the experience is a near solid 60 fps. This ironically leaves the difference in loading, which is drastic.
So I'm returning to what I said first. It's all a matter of preference, and perhaps more than anything, what you have as a console. Honestly, how many people will have the choice to play either the One X or the Series S version? Isn't it wonderful that in the end, both of these system owners have a great experience?
