Hia,
so after finishing the beta with my barbarian Remnant and playing again with DH to level 6 (dont worry, Ill continue right away), I must say, that this really is Diablo we are all waiting for.
There may be fixing here and there and alot of items are just placeholders, but from what I have seen, its shaping up to be one hell of a game.
Here are some points that I have used, discovered, etc..
- I held shift, like in D2, to attackl from place
- You dont need to hold alt to see the names of the items on the ground, just press it and it will be visible for a while
-When item is on a ground, you can hover on it with ctrl to see the items description
-All objects in the game have their own weight and much of the environment is destructible(I played with the physics while holding shift and smashing and sending everything to air)
-I didnt understand the chosing of skills, but it is supah easy:
press S to see skill page, at first you have two active skills which means just two..active skills, you click and select. Click on the second and select. You can swith the position of the skills in the hotbar however you want - you can lock this in options.
I have it open for fast switching of skills.
-You can create own banner which you have seen and click G to place it on the ground.
(I was like wtf, why is he screaming when I nonintentionaly pressed it XD )
-Ive been to auction place and from what I have seen, it is pretty organized.
You can sort items like in wow, have the ability like choosing which criteria you want(you can select more than one)
-While holding shift while selling, salvaging or doing anything to items, you can just click on another items and not click on icons representing said actions.
And I am going to relax my mind on the balcony and then playing much more.
If you have questions, feel free to ask.
Oh and by the way, the question I asked about printscreen? SAME AS D2
screenshots begin from 000 and are saved directly to root of the game.
Send PMs with emails so I can add you!
edit:
I have laptop and must say that overall, the performance is very good. By good I mean you cant see any slowdowns - but, when things go hectic and there are many monsters on the screen, it was like 10-20fps? I dont know, but here are my specs and settings.
intel i5 460M 2,50(turbo 2,8) MHz
4gb ram
Ati Mob Rad 5650 HD

high except shadows which are on medium
color correction and tripple buffering
One bug I found was in the cathedral. I was on lower level and clicked the bookshelf and you know that when you do this, item will fly up and fall down? Mine scroll flew up and was on the upper floor above the bookshelf. So stairs and there...
I didnt have real ID on and was amazed why nobody joined. Have it on.
