Nope, I'm still around here buddy, I doubt I'll wind up with an invite anytime soon either. And I was #9 on that beta key list! :-P
 
Dear Diary,

I got so desperate that I installed Torchlight again from steam that I bought on some holiday sale. Managed to play for about 10 minutes and then I was bored and missing diablo even more. I'm starting to think that the only thing that will keep me sane is installing the original Diablo.

This is the darkest hour, I'm starting to lose all hope. Why is it not 2012 yet?

Happens when the release is so far away and beta can't sustain you for long / not in the beta.
With SC2 I was hyped the second I was in the beta until it was released. I'm sure you will be hyped again closer to release.
 
I was hyped for this last month, but with so many games coming out in the next few weeks, now I'm almost glad I'm not in.

Who am I kidding, I'd kill a puppy with my bare hands to get in

I wish I could share, I'm ashamed to admit that I've been in a drunken haze of Dark Souls for days and thus haven't been playing D3 much at all :((

Dark Souls is an awesome title to play while waiting for D3.

Really though, as much as I enjoyed the beta, and as grateful I am that I got a key, once you're done you're pretty much done. I've been through it with all the classes and that's that. There are no runes, there's no item farming, no difficulty (not surprising for early Act 1). The only thing you can do is farm Pages of Training, but even then there's little point.

It's a wonderful sneak peak at the game and the engine, but you will exhaust its content fairly quickly.

I know, but soon I hope to have the capability TO exhaust the content. I am in the last 5 weeks of Masters Program, so it's a perfect getaway too!

DS is on my Christmas list!

I was wondering about that! In the meantime, I've raised about 6 characters to level 13 and now I'm a bit bored with the beta to be honest (makes me sad) I just wish they'd add difficulty levels to it so they don't have to add more content but make the current one harder :O

Haha, even though there's no point I've still done it, my blacksmith is now able to craft items of level 22... xD

Yep, Dark Souls is so damn good that I haven't been checking to see if I have D3 beta access but once a day.

I am REALLY looking forward to the beta though :)

Seems like a separate contest from the one Blizzard is doing on their main page, so I figured I should post.

Edit: Eh, nevermind. It looks like it's the exact same thing.

Wonder why the dates are different though.
 
Still nothing, despite being "Added" last Friday, but I guess we are all just waiting for the next round which (god help me) should be before Friday.

I get all the "it's not that long" stuff, but I am holding out hope that they will add more, like the Arena, for testing, and once your in, your in...

And even if it is just a small part, at least running around with your character for yourself and testing the engine yourself will be worth it. I doubt the wait for the full game will be harder with beta-access :)
