Also I was in örebro yesterday :[ had you not been a coldhearted monster you would've invited me to your home to stay indefinitely!! Instead I had to go to bedstores and do useless research for uni.

Just read some story spoilers. Endgame stuff sounds pretty wicked!

I dislike the art direction in this, as its flavor is very un-Diablo to me, but I'll definitely be getting the CE. Fuck that WoW pet though.

I'll play the Hell out of it until Guild Wars 2 comes along and wrecks everything. Tee hee!

edit: Watching through the Diablo 3-stuff again... God damn, are enemies fast in hell. I love it when people complain about the difficulty in the beta and that it's too slow. Fuck me, did they even play normal D2 :lol I love that Blizzard made the comparison between the two, the sorc just stood there with a bunch of Fallens walking around, not giving a single fuck to hit her, bwhaahaha.

I think if you are flagged it would say D3 beta , I think that's for the retail version to download when it comes out.

And what's with this Diablo 2 Normal example? Does he really think people havent played this game for so long to not remember normal? What's with constant comparisons to WoW?

BTW from what saw the system is still focused around one hit deaths from npcs ;\, that's bad.

Eh yes. People forgot normal difficulty in D2. That's a fact. On GAF. And everywhere else.

Yes thats exactly what he thinks, and for good fucking reason. Have you read.... like any of the official boards for D3 or threads on the blizzard forums and fan sites? People were bitching like CRAZY about the easyness of the beta. They clearly did NOT remember (or maybe never even played) D2. That was a very nice example he did, and it was spot on. Not only that, it was nice to give contrast to what he showed later. Not sure what your problem is with that tbh.

So You're taking his side? He showed first area from act 1, graveyard and dungeons in graveyard, cold plains and further had very aggressive mobs, with abilities that hit quite hard and thats not even one hour of gameplay like Diablo 3 beta.

I know pretty much every enemy in D2 inside out. Seriously, only an handful of enemies were super aggressive on normal difficulty. In act 1, we had the spear-ladies (with the orgasm each time they die), some specific variants of the Fallen and the Wendigos (big fluffy giants) were slightly fast.

In Act 2, the fast enemies were the Claw Vipers (snakes) and Leapers (jumping assholes)...

I'm not gonna talk about Act 3 and Act 4 because everything in that act was fast as fuck :lol

In Act 5, we had the harpies, Blood Lord (VERY fast douchebag with dual wield)!) and the minions of Baal (if they survive that long).

So yeah, the comparison was needed. It has in fact worked on many of my buddies that doubted that D3 will become hard. I rest my case here.

Act 1 tainted and archers with rares were powerful. Goatmans in dungeons were quite strong too.

Act 2, slingers, Blunderbore and Vampires

D2 normal was slow as living fuck and it'll be the exact same case with normal difficulty in D3. Haters are gonna hate and hopefully stop playing before they even finish the game and realize that the real Diablo 3 starts with Nightmare (not really, it starts in Hell to be honest, but yeah). This will, again, be the identical case with Diablo 3.

We're talking speed here, and Goatmen in normal difficulty was not fast.
