Sweet! Diablo III here I come! ....After I finish downloading the client of course. ^^;
You will be doing a lot of clicking![]()
Thanks for adding me to the list MrMister. Will send requests after work.
I am in, played a bit and then it crashed and I stopped. One thing i noticed so far is that the levels are very confined. Not like stony fields which is a massive open box, this is like passages. Then again I am only level 5.
One thing I do like is the random lore and achievement things you find. I love me some collecting (Best part of wow)
I went ahead and made a Google Docs spreadsheet to list all of our Battletags, please post yours so I can add it to the list!
>>>List of NeoGAF Battletags!<<<
This document is especially important since they wipe friends lists as well during the beta.
Battletag: Matt322#1284
Can't stop playing!
I hope the achievements don't get wiped with updates? Cool to see they're implemented for the beta. Going to try to get them all!

Just got my beta invite. Loaded up the game "Awwww yeah. Here we go!" Everything was looking good. "Oh snap, a zombie! Gonna go fuck that bitch up." I go up to it, click it.
"The fuck??...." Every time I fight enemies, depending on how many mobs are on screen, my game stutters DRAMATICALLY. (1-5 enemies is not TOO bad, but it will stutter very, very noticeably especially if a move I'm using has some kind of "effect" IE: Monk's thunder punch) It's as if the game is streaming or something and it stops to buffer, rendering the game virtually unplayable. I would barely even consider it a frame-rate drop when I'm fighting a field or dungeon full of zombies. It's more like an inconsistent, mentally retarded slideshow.
I tried lowering the graphics settings, turning off D3D Overrider, turning off hyper-threading, running in windowed mode....etc. No noticeable improvement whatsoever. Is there maybe a certain nvidia driver that is needed to run this well or something? Does anyone else have this issue?

Plz halp.

This thread is so depressing...
...for us without the beta.

using the Demon Hunter and the last two times i tried to make good use of the Rapid Fire skill, the game gets all screwed up ...ie, can't click on anything, can't do shit.
i see others have the problem, too ...

I also got an invite, wow. I didn't think I would. Played a bit and boy, how I can't fucking wait for more Diablo...
The stuttering has been an issue for me as well, however. Overall really enjoying what I've played.
Not really worth it for gaming in general, it's just that the past few versions of the Beta seem to continually stream assets from the HDD even if they're already loaded, and it causes some bad stuttering even on high end rigs, and playing with an SSD would greatly decrease the effects of that issue/bug. I'm sure it'll be fixed before release.
- Rares are very tricky to get in beta, depending on how you go about getting them. The best way, but most tedious, is to start a new character for each time you battle SK, this guaruntees you at least 1-3 rares to drop, I recommend doing this after you've at least maxed one of your characters to level 13.
Stuttering left for me when I finished downloading everything. Maybe your's will get better if you haven't downloaded and updated all the files.
