It remembers the map layouts per run. Saving doesn't really fit with this type of game.

What's there to enjoy? I'd rather be known on GAF than every other site combined. Random Russian people inviting me to talk isn't fun, and it certainly isn't making me play nightmare efficiently (I've died several times trying to multi-task).
That's just the nature of Diablo games. It's a random map every time you start. Sometimes you'll find caves that weren't there before, sometimes extra monsters will appear in an area. Your quest progression is always save though. Try not to get hung up on a cave that is missing because in the grand scheme it doesn't matter, there will be other caves to explore next time you play.

I'm playing DH. I don't think they're shit, but they're not my style.
Build so far is at level 21 hardcore:
Entangling Shot, Spiky Trap, Impale
Tumble, Shadow Power, Smoke Screen
Cull The Weak and... that passive that gives chance of Discipline on Crit.
I eventually want to use Grenades, but I need better gear for that.
