they seem to be working as long as you didn't log out...

too bad I accidentally logged out when I pressed ESC to alt tab to GAF.

That should teach me never to leave the game ever again.

Btw, is there really a six skill assign limit?? My friend complained about the DH, 1 evade, 1 snare, 2 traps amd regular attack alone take up five slots.
No way to toggle to a second set of skills??

I don't know what's worse, knowing the game is installed on my PC at home and I can't play, or not knowing what class I want to play. I enjoyed Barb a lot in beta, but all my friends are going Barb so bleh :(.

Is it okay for Wizards to be equipping swords/polearms ect while playing complete caster? My fiancée wants to know because not many wands are dropping (none at all in fact, so far).

I'm playing a barbarian, so just duel wielding whatever gives highest DPS.

Yes, you can only have six active skills. That's part of the whole build planning thing: Choosing your active skill setup.

You can enable Elective Mode and have any six skills you want, however, instead of the pre-determined categories.

it might be "growing pains" but this is the final argument against having single player managed as online. we've paid our game that simply won't work. it will go away in a week or in two days, but the reality is that early adopters (not all of 'em ofc) are paying for a service that is not working and a one that should NOT be a service but rather a product.

Yup. Off-hand, I don't actually think the Class Unique equipment actually do anything special for them, it's just Unique loot.

Diablo forum should be even peachier than usual with all these people locked out of the game due to server constraints.

Why doesn´t Blizzard learn from each time they fuck up an online game launch? The 10€ mark up from industry price should go to more servers instead of Activision´s pocket´s.

Yeah, the game's weird that way. Wands are just another kind of weapon, and Wizards do fine just equipping high-DPS swords if that's what's dropping. The only thing to watch out for is that if you have a melee weapon and try to cast something that you don't have enough arcane power for, you'll run up to them to try to whack them with the thing.

So main hand should be a wand yeah? I think she has a sword/shield combo right now.

Good to know, she has been complaining a bit about that problem I believe (but none of us knew why).

I don't know what I was thinking buying this thing on BAttle.net. I should have just run over to best buy or gamestop and picked up a hard copy. I think I just need to accept I'm probably not going to be able to install the game I bought for at least another 24 hours and move on with my life.

Baaaah just spoiled the Act 1 boss by checking someones profile in game :( Was actually trying to check their achievements to see if they were working.
