Yeah, this is unacceptable. Sadly, there will be no consequence what so ever for Blizzard. It kinda sucks that consumers are so powerless in these matters.

No offense to anyone in particular, but you'd have to be a complete fool to think that launch day for DIABLO 3 was going to go off without a hitch.

That said, I wonder why they can't plan for this sort of stuff when we all know it's coming?

First I find out I will have to get used to playing with a minimal ping of 135.

Then I accidentily read a post somewhere with some spoilers

And then I spoiler myself by clicking on an achievement to see what it entails, not knowing that in the same screen I would see some story achievements ><

And now I can't play due to emergency maintenance.

Pings were pretty awful for me in beta (~200ms) even though my local speedtest.net times were sub 10ms. My WoW times were better so I just chalked it up to beta growing pains.
