Nowhere near as efficient as my Dire Bat build, and I miss Spirit Walk something fierce, but damn it's fun. I should probably ditch Hex but he picks up Hedge Magic in half a level ;p

Here's mine. Perfect balance of spam, CC, fear, temp intel, hard damage, and tank.

Seems pretty stupid to take the servers down for an update during peak times. So then when you come up the login servers can't handle it.

It's not like they did it to piss you off. They probably had an issue.

Is the lag bad?

Funny thing is, the latency is 2-3x better for me on the EU servers than the NA ones (I live in Canada) So to answer your question, the lag is probably better rather than worse.

Any Demon Hunters on GAF? I'm only one Act I but Entangling shot w/ Chain Gang + a Templar makes it nearly impossible to take any damage. I find that Hungering Arrow w/ the exploding Rune isn't very effective despite having a higher damage output.

So my first experience with Diablo III was to log in to seeing the American servers down. I made a Wizard on the EU realm, and had a 200ms or so ping. The lag wasn't particularly noticeable, but I just felt like I was wasting my time playing in a sub-optimal realm in which I would never play outside of American server downtime.

Such a shitty situation, this game.

Crippling Wave is probably the best Monk standard attack.

That's what I'll probably switch to when I run Nightmare.

I ran with Fists of Thunder and Thunderclap all the way through. Very nice single target damage and basically negates those teleporting casters...they blink, I blink. I love having mobility, jumping/teleporting in and out of large groups of mobs, turning them against each other, and round-housing them all over the map.

Bout ready to just go play Torchlight II for a week until Blizzard gets their act together. Makes me rage that I spent over $100 on this, though.

The sense of frustration and helplessness is pretty huge here. Especially when you have Blizzard acting all arrogant in their responses to this massive fuck-up of a situation.
