Hehe, story is the last thing why I would play this. Are you getting it too?Pepper your angus. Great game, but the story is horrible, horrible, horrible.

Sure. It's not like there is something else to play on PS4 at the moment. ;-)Hehe, story is the last thing why I would play this. Are you getting it too?
Save transferred! Cannot wait to download it on my Xbox One.
Just pre-ordered on the US store, thread is a bit to big to check this so I apologize if this has been asked before, but are there any known problems with transferring characters from the EU PS3 version to NA PS4 version?
Gonna assume nobody knows the answer to this (yet), since I haven't found anything anywhere on the subject, but figured I'd ask anyways.
I'm guessing it's not gonna work.
I'm tempted of buying it through the US store as well, it's gonna save me 23 euro's
Does the best armour generally look coolest?
Is there a way of transferring equipment stats to other equipment, so you can combine the best stats with the best aesthetics

Just to let you know in case you care, it's unconfirmed but it seems that the PS4 file size is more than double that of the One's. DF said they both look and play the same so they're not quite sure yet why the difference but if you're hard up for hard drive space you might wanna get the One version. Again not confirmed, though if it turns out to be true with no differences in graphics or gameplay I'll be getting the One version just so I can dust it off and actually play something on it.
Oh and btw the PS4 pre-order bonus is just superficial bullshit, it's just enemies modeled after the clickers from TLOU and an armor that looks like a Colossus from SOTC. No extra quests or anything like that.
UPDATE 11/08/2014 9.03pm: Blizzard has told me the PS4 Ultimate Edition file size listed by Sony for download - 62.7GB - is inaccurate. A spokesperson told me Blizzard was investigating.
Especially considering I'm guessing there's not gonna be any payed DLC.My reasoning as well.
Worse case scenario I have to start over which honestly isn't that much of a hassle, gonna trophy hunt this anyways since I platinumed the PS3 version, and I almost never platinum games.
The OT mentions the Last of Us and Shadow of the Colossus content under Preorder Bonuses. I thought they were just exclusive to the Playstation versions, and didn't require a preorder to have. Am I wrong?
Diablo virgin here, got a question:
So two people (X and Y) are playing the game on two separate PS4 consoles. At one point, they want to play locally on X's PS4. Can player Y somehow access his player from X's console and play with him/her?
I transferred my character via USB stick to another PS3, I assume that's how you do it on PS4 as well.
Not sure if they have a fancier way now.
Actually my hope was that you can access your PSN account on a friend's PS4, and from there access your player for local coop. Probably wishful thinking on my part.
Just pre-ordered this on PS4. If anyone wants to play add me on PSN: Kyoufu2
I played this for 600+ hours on PC but eventually stopped because I didn't like the lack of item trading.
You sir just saved me more money than geicoDepending on where you are what about renting to get it for the transfer ? Gamefly for the US I assume or whatevers handy to you locally.
Isn't that the case with the console versions as well? same item trading I mean.
Well, yeah, but at least playing with friends, you can gift them items or something like that. It's at least more beneficial to play with friends on console than on PC.
One of those is player gifts. In the console version, players who get a Legendary item from a loot drop will also get a second bonus item that can be gifted to a friend through the PS4 game's player mail system. Berger explained how that will work.
"I'm going to be running around, killing monsters and a Legendary will drop," he said, "and then — cue awesome sound, column of light — a box, a gift will pop off that Legendary. It's going to say 'Gift for Michael.' I'm going to pick it up and send it to you." That gifted item will be of either Rare or Legendary class and can be used by the player character who opened it.
"Even though you and I are not adventuring together," Berger said, "I can give you something, and still make it feel like we're playing together."
Isn't the gifting an item drop? I don't think you can gift anything. Off to Google

Yep. Which is like I said, more beneficial to play with friends.
It does, there's special difficulty levels that specifically increase mob difficulty and rewards, in fact.Never played a Diablo game before and my only experience with this type of game was Torchlight on XBLA (which I loved!). Had a few questions:
Does the loot quality and experience amount increase with difficulty level?
Yes, you can.Can you transmogrify armor more than once? As in if I transmog an armor to look like the SotC armor, can I do it again on another set?
All classes are perfectly balanced, it doesn't really matter which one you chose, your gear will pretty much decide where you're at DPS-wise. They only differ in the way you play them, but they're pretty much balanced otherwise. Can the crusader dual weild weapons? If not, is he at a DPS disadvantage compared to the other classes?
I plan on playing mostly solo and don't mind being OP nor do I have a particular class preference. Which do you think it's best to pick?
Thanks y'all.
Played it a lot on PC but only as monk so will try multiple classes this time.
Preordered digitally. Looking forward to it.
Only thing that sucks is that its £60. Kind of a rediculas price but I know I'll get tons of hours out of it and I got the credit sitting there.
Still ps4 game prices are getting kinds crazy.
1) Experience does, loot quality doesn't exactly; your legendary drop chance does get higher with difficulty, the others don't and base stats of the actual gear that drops are not affected either.Never played a Diablo game before and my only experience with this type of game was Torchlight on XBLA (which I loved!). Strange performance drop on PS4 but overall looks fine in the video and seems to be without the day 1 patch.
To cut to the chase, the PS4 version isn't as smooth in action as its Xbox One counterpart, despite both versions sharing identical assets to PC on its highest settings. Having tested both extensively over the last few days, with a mind to produce a full Face-Off feature once the Gamescom mania is dispensed with, the promise of 60fps is, on the face of it, delivered on both of the new-wave consoles. We ran both versions of the game through our analysis tools, which reported a flawless frame-rate on both - but there's a catch.
uh no we need a new thread! lol
Since the analysis is without the day 1 patch and the Xbox 1 version still running at 900p I wasn't sure if it's worth a new thread and rather posted it here.uh no we need a new thread! lol
Good to hear that the XB1 runs well. Maybe they'll fix the PS4 version with a patch. I've got friends who'll play on both so I might just grab it on both.
Xbone outperforming ps4 in a multiplatform game!?
