As per Rod Fergusson.

I've been getting this question quite a bit recently and I'm happy to say that Diablo IV and Vessel of Hatred will indeed be PS5 Pro Enhanced!
Very proud of our hardworking team to make this happen. More details at a later date.

Nice. The way he words it, it seems they've put quite a few resources into it. Hopefully, it's expansive; with extra ray tracing, additional FPS modes, and making good use of PSSR to improve image quality and framerate. Wonder when Call of Duty will give confirmation.

I wouldn't get too excited tbh - even the PC version with the raytracing cranked up is 🤷‍♂️ (compared to base)

The image quality was fine on console and RT on PC was barely noticable. It's one of those games where you won't be able to tell most likely.

Phil and greenberg must be raging.

They've always wanted the the most powerful console title. Now there first party game won't even play best on consoles.

They've had it since 2017 when XB1X was released, and they'll have it again in 2026.
And they'll lose it shortly after once Sony launch in 27/28.

What's worse is considering Xbox sales are down the shitter, most devs won't bother optimising for it.

GPU wise it won't be any better than PS5 Pro if they release in 2026, the only jump can be CPU and that's going to be marginal in terms of what console players see and feel as games will still not target CPU heavy design because Switch 2, PS5 and Series S will have the majority of the marketshare.

Nice!
It was fine most of the time but in the Infernal Hordes with the screen filled with monsters and effects it usually got very 'grainy' due to lower res and FSR.

Yo how come no one "enhances" old games for when we get new generation GPUs and CPUs on PC?

"Blackwell enhanced" section on Steam would be hilarious

Pc gamers already have the enhanced version from day1. Up to gamers to buy the hardware to take advantage of it.
At least on PC, if you're running minimum requirements.. you can always upgrade. Console gamers dont get that luxury.

We see DLSS3 and DLSS Frame Generation ads 'everywhere'. "RTX ON". DLSS FG for example is only possible on Series 40+ cards. DLSS was "not possible" on Series 10 cards. Not that much different, is it?

I was about to say this. Just replacing the image upscaler they're using right now with PSSR would be a welcome change. Also, maybe they can add a 120fps mode, or at least to uncap the FPS for those with the Pro and a VRR screen.

I just checked and it looks like it's uncapped already, with VRR. I got 58~80fps just running in Cerrigar.
