Did I miss something?

I think it was roughly April 1st when I read about Chaos in the Windy City 2: Jordan's Last Dance... But since I've read nothing... Maybe it got pushed back to the PS3 or something, but I was just curious if anyone else picked up any information on it. I mean with Anthony as a playable character this title was looking to be my most anticipated title of the year, I just hope it doesn't become the next Chrono Break.

Actually, I heard the game got moved to PS3 and will be utilizing the Unreal Engine 3.0. Obviously, this allows for all sorts of graphical glory; at E3, the developer confirmed that all of the wind would be rendered in real-time on the CELL processor! He even showed off a demo of thousands of flying newspapers, each with their own distinct panhandler-vomit map--meaning you can smell the city in full surround as the garbage swirls about!

As far as gameplay, the idea is to kinda breed basketball side-scrolling action with an FPS. From the first person, Jordan can hurl basketballs at enemies. After he's run out of basketballs, he has to resort to fouling and chop-blocking them. You have to run to NikeTown to pick up more balls when you run out. Word is that you'll have to collect gatorade and nike shoes to restore cash.

Shaq Fu: Da Return?! Was that announced? I thought the project name was Shaq Fu: Bringin' Down Da Hoop, but I guess everything is subject to change in the fast paced world of Shaq Fuing.

Oh yeah?! Wel CitWC2:JLD will be pure rubish in comparison to GGlHI#98asdfjkl;Ver2.

Listen pal, I made this thread about CitWC2:JLD, if you are not Windy City fan, or no Jordan fan, I will have to ask you to leave. I don't need your flaming, in either aspect of the word, thank you.

You're probably right... it's been a while since I've heard anything concrete about it. I just see it mentioned all the time at the Cheap Ass Gamer forums

Wow nice detail, do you have the link from where it came, I'd like to read more.

I also heard that you have to bang a lot of groupies in the earlier stages so your kids have time to grow up and help you out on the later stages, which are a real bitch.

So Shawn Kemp playable is confirmed then?

Nope, NPC. You hit up on the d-pad and he joins your "posse." At that point, he'll also throw basketballs at whatever you start throwing basketballs at.

Or if you're desperate, you can throw a basketball at him to knock him out, steal all of his basketballs, and get the one you threw at him back.

The developer says this one's going to entertain kids for hours, and something inside of me tends to agree!

Yeah, but on the other hand whenever you have Shawn Kemp in your posse your normal money bonuses are reduced 30% to pay for child support.

I didn't write that, I didn't bold anything... But I see your point, that is only 13 days before V-Day, and if there is one thing women like it's rich black men... So are you saying the announcement was just to try to sell some plush dolls and toys for V-Day? Seems a bit cheesy, and it's not very nice to pull at the heart strings of America by making such a false claim. Frankly, I think it's true, and probably wasn't suppose to be leaked, I know lots of you guys have inside sources, and once the news hit forums everywhere the production team probably went into hiding at some camp David or something. Hopefully all is well with them and their families, and I wish them a speedy return to the labs where they can continue production of the next phenom.

Shawk Kemp 4 life.
