Her music is decent. And i say that as someone who mostly listens to alt-rock. But Dark Horse is a damn good track. As far as po pstarlets go anyway she writes much catchier tunes than anything ive heard from Taylor Swift (which has been 100% unlistenable crap in my experience). All hail our new pop Queen.

She's attractive for sure but if you saw her in a local coffee shop you wouldn't feel compelled to tell a friend about her.

"Oh man, I just saw a truly stunning looking woman...," Etc, etc.



Artificial? She's dolled up in make up but then so is every celebrity male or female. Pamela Anderson (flat chested, brunette, Canadian) was 'artificial' but I wouldn't say the same about Katy Perry.

I do not agree with that at all. I would definitely notice her anywhere, she would stand out.

And she's not even my type of women.

I find it hard to believe that most guys would be pointing her out to her friends or thinking she stood out if they were standing behind her in Starbucks.

I'm not going to insult her or anything, and the only reason I feel comfortable discussing her appearance at all is that she's used it to market herself constantly. I don't think she's ugly or anything, I just think she's nothing special. I know plenty of women day-to-day I find more attractive than the above.

Even in that picture she's clearly above average looks wise in my opinion.

But like, her whole public image is very far away from the "girl next door" trope. Even if she did have average looks she doesn't present herself like that in music videos and media in general.

But there's no point in discussing this. Tastes are tastes I guess.
