Canada incredibly quickly closed schools and otherwise implemented lockdown procedures (and social distancing, which in the major urban areas yeah included mask wearing.)
Far more strictly than the US.
It's not just masks; it was quick action.. and then once you start re-opening after lockdown that's when masks start to become more important.
Also, as I mentioned..it's incredibly simple and effective.
This is wrong at least where i live. Which was the hardest hit place in canada. We shut down march 24th. No mask mandates till months later and i see barely anyone wearing masks and we have been open for almost 6 weeks now.
About 20 to 30 cases a day now. No one really can explain why the virus is gone. We had a barely enforced lock down so it wasnt that.
We only had 2 small protests and bars clubs stayed closed.
Hopefully we continue to keep the virus down here.
