Far more strictly than the US.

It's not just masks; it was quick action.. and then once you start re-opening after lockdown that's when masks start to become more important.

The mandatory isolation doesn’t look like it will be lifting soon, so you will have to take that 14 days into account when booking an international trip.

If you want a 2 week vacation, you will have to book a month out of work, unless you work from home.

I agree, we could have shut it down earlier, but our “shutdown“ isn’t even a full one, so it’s more symbolic then anything.

We have the best heart clinic in the world and also some of the best doctors in the world.
Hospitals are world class and always up to date.
Our healthcare system is way ahead of the US not to mention we have free healthcare unlike the US.

Most of canada if not all only had partial shutdowns.
Here in alberta schools got closed yet in ontairo schools remained open.
No mask wearing and for sure not mandatory.

Right now they give you free masks at tim hortons a&w etc and no one cares.

But our big problem is we Cuomod our old people. 80% of our deaths were in old age homes. My burrough 240 out of 247 deaths in old age homes.

My government took proper measures to take on the pandemic months ago, our citizens cooperated, so now our society is opening up again and the amount of people getting sick is extremely low. People are mandated to wear a mask on public transportation, they all do, and what people do outside of that is up to them.

Then again, in my country one half of the country doesn't hate the other half of the country. We care enough about each other to cooperate.

I don't think those wearing a mask are stupid. I think the militant "you must wear a mask, why the fuck don't you believe in science!?!!" crowd is stupid.

Look through my older COVID post history objectively - I bring a good amount of valid data and information to the table, much of it is information that Dr John Campbell eventually brings up as objective data points a few days-to-weeks later as part of his analysis.

These data point are often ignored and/or not addressed as part of policy making. At the end of the day, policy is (should be) determined objectively by risk profiles determined from the full body of reliable data, and should never be based on emotional knee jerk reactions.

Look at the data points I've brought to (at least) the GAF discussion on COVID, and some of the napkin analyses. Compare it to what is being reported, what your average person is screaming and yelling about and their inability for critical thinking beyond parroting headlines, and I think you'll understand why I have a huge disdain for the above mentioned demographic - it's also part of the reason why I stopped posting in there. I don't have anything to prove - just an objective lens into data and an analysis that demonstrates people are overreacting to the nth degree about covid.

You seem to be arguing against yourself. I am in Virginia which is doing better than most states and entering phase III, and I wear a mask because I want it to stay that way. Canadians or Virginians are no more immune to this infection than anyone else, the exponential increase in cases is just as possible in these locations as the others that it has occured in. You seem upset that fortunately this hasn't happened where you are
