Do you think there will ever be a point where Sony will give access to all the libraries from PS1 - PSVita?

Also more digital psp games.

Its downright sad what sony has become. Nintendo is more true to its roots with releaseing classics. The thing is they have them as they trickled some out and stopped, why?

The crazy thing is will these ever come out on the PS5 store. That's alot of gems in your list.

Uh no. The only way to make any money off that is to trickle them out and charge just cheap enough that people buy them with only the most fleeting intention to play.

1440p on the Deck? ;P
But actually the particular selection of games is still annoyingly - not great on PCSX2 - BO and SH3 are a compatibility mess, GT3 was having random glitches last time I tried it too, but maybe that's finally fixed. Though more importantly there's the issues with input latency on PCSX2 that - impair the experience somewhat even when compatibility is great.

Yeah through the emulator settings because you have an option between 720p, 1080, 1440 or 4k. I didnt want to go 4K as I assume thats just overkill for the system plus game already looks gorgeous and sharp. As for SH3 theres widescreen support fix and modern controls with high res textures. Not as detailed as SH2 Enhanced Edition but pretty close. SH4 also runs great. I mean everything looks great because its upscaled. Ill make a video, honestly all the games I tried run flawlessly. xbox360 emulation on the other hand is shit.

A lot of people feel backwards compatibility should be built in and that Sony is disrespecting PlayStations past.

Shame I can’t just pop a PS1 disc into my PS5 and run it

Dropping PSX disc compatibility is so dumb. It should always be there, even if 5 of us use it. It's such a cool nod to PlayStation's roots and great for those of us who still have PSX games.

Not a snowballs chance in hell. General rule of thumb: Do you want it? Then Sony will charge you for it. Do you want it a lot? Then Sony will charge you a lot for it.
You'll get rotating games on their subscription service and you'll be happy.

Who is releasing singular PS1, PS2, PSP, Vita, and PS3 games at 69.99?

No, why would they? Out of the kindness of their hearts?

If they concluded that it would benefit them financially, they would have done it already.

Get a Steam Deck, emulation is golden up to PS3. And theres massive github megsthread with the whole playstation catalogue. Why would SONY do that when they can play on the nostalgia and sell you a handful of old titles for $20+?

Im playing Gran Turismo 3 and Burnout 3, Silent Hill 3, THPS3, Tekken 5 etc widescreen support, 60fps 1440P. I dont need SONY:

For all the people who think most people dump their own isos instead of just downloading them illegally.

what's the precedent here... no one has ever done that before, why would they do it now. (plus as others have said, licensing prevents anyone from doing it)
