I believe it is the BBC version. I'm pretty sure that was the version for S5 and S6.

Phew. Thank god. Because I have gotten the DVDs of 1-5, and the blu ray of series 6. Was tempted to pay for the Matt Smith digital set on iTunes to get series 5 and 6 in HD for quicker access, but didnt.

Woah, whats up with the second Dalek from the left? Looks like a cannon coming out of its midsection. Was that actually a thing back in the days of old Who?

Special Weapons Dalek, appeared in a brilliant episode of the 7th Doctors run called Remembrance of the Daleks.

It is a great episode to showcase every strength Sylvester McCoy had in the role and how companions were becoming more in the vain of modern Who even before the revival.

The hell? BBC America edited "A Christmas Carol" (probably to include more commercials). I noticed the psychic paper joke was gone. At least On Demand has it up for now.

The BBC America policy since Season 5 has been to show the full episode with fewer commercials on the premiere night, then cut it down for normal formatting for the replays. Top Gear is done the same way, where they give a 1:20:00 block for premieres and then shorten to one hour for replays. Who is less affected since they need to chop off less. AGMGTW was noticeable for the speed up at the end, caused by a slightly longer episode than normal and less stuff that could be cut without mangling the plot.

The on-demand versions have been the full-length episodes. This is convenient for me, as Comcast does not have BBC:A in HD in my area, but the on-demand episodes are HD. I usually do a HD re-watch of the previous episode to gear up for the premiere.

By the by the way, no one has still explained to me when the photo of Amy and her baby was taken. I mean, it had her smiling and I have a hard time thinking she would smile for the camera from the silence.
Why does no one ever answer my question about Amy's picture?! I feel like this is some sort of running joke at this point that I'm not in on.

You keep asking this, but people did infact answer you the first time you asked, I was one of them, you can't complain that no one answers you if you aren't paying attention, lol.

And we don't know, it's either a plot hole, an illusion, something they we're originally going to do and didn't or just haven't done yet.

Sorry, I must've missed it the first time. :(
