I think it's better we just don't talk about that. If people happen to find the episode, just spoiler appropriately. The less said about where it was obtained the better, though, eh.
I don't mind them asking people politely to keep it down, but the blackmail with the clip of Tennant/Smith is kinda BS. Chances are they were planning a 50th teaser anyway (though there is no trailer after ep7 on the DVD, people say.)

Nah. Music video journey through the show, and then a brief in-character clip where the Doctor 'finds' a BAFTA in the TARDIS, compares it to an Axon, threatens Graham Norton and then sends Clara to give it back, where she then presents an award alongside Brian Cox. Seems the announcement talk was a no-go. Probably "there'll be something special" - the clip - lost in translation.
Video was alright, though.

I can only imagine how angry he is. He must be ranting right now. He really hates this kind of thing, even more than RTD, who would just strop and swear inwardly. He'll inevitably come out and say something really rude/inflammatory like he did over spoilers during Series 5.

The fact they're plastering facebook/twitter with this stuff is a pretty plain indication that they know exactly how many copies have shipped and it's a lot. If it was just a few people, they'd likely have battened down the hatches and hoped nothing would happen. A metric ton must be arriving tomorrow.
The same person that many weeks ago posted what we now know is 100% the plot to NOTD thanks to a combination of the trailers and this leak also said that between the finale and the 50th there'll be a live action online mini-episode with McGann. Everybody brushed him off at the time, but with his other stuff coming to pass...

We probably need to nail this down before tomorrow, as this is now a matter of when, not if.
My suggestion: Anybody who wants to discuss the contents of the finale ahead of time moves their discussion, until Saturday, to the 50th thread. With spoiler tags, obviously. The people in there are already spoiling themselves for an episode six months away, after all. Thoughts?

I suggest the creation of a separate thread. Much safer for those that wish to abstain, much more convenient for those that wish to be spoiled, and will only be relevant for 6 days.
I do agree it should be moved to a separate thread - either to the 50th Anniversary or (IMO, preferably,) it's own thread.

I think creating a thread for 5 days of limited discussion is a bit silly, really, unless maharg can agree perhaps to merge it back into this one at the end. Other TV show communities seem to manage through difficult times like this with one thread, we're already on two.

Move it to the 50th, put it in spoiler tags. Anyone who wants to be spoiled will swipe over the spoiler tags. They're already in a thread, marked Spoiler, for an episode not even airing until November. They're likely not there by accident.
